Senate candidate Alvin Greene howled at a reporter on Saturday.
Senate candidate Alvin Greene howled at a reporter on Saturday.

(CNN) - In another strange moment in the Alvin Greene saga, the South Carolina Senate candidate attempted to drown out a local news interview with his brother by howling at the reporter from his front door.

Rad Berky, of CNN affiliate WCNC, spoke to Greene's brother following the candidate's indictment on a felony charge of obscenity.

Before any rethugliban starts with their inane comments, the first thing to remember is that SC has open primaries, and Mr. Greene got more votes than deMented. The dems didn't even know who the guy is and they AREN'T endorsing him. It would serve the idiot rethugliban in SC right if Greene won!

Perhaps since he's been indicted, someone will have better luck digging for information on where his $10k campaign filing fee came from. That he was getting unemployment compensation at the time doesn't pass the smell test.

This man is a joke. what does it say about the Democrats of South Carolina? Like the Presidential primary, they voted color, not qualification.
There is a reason the state has the reputation it has as backwards.

In an election cycle that's likely to see Republicans gain, this guy is trying to embarass them into office. Starting to see why the Dems think there was something seriously wrong with the primaries that put Greene on the ticket.

I really believe someone in a position of authority should look in to this Greene situation. If he is legitimate,a Democrat and a bonefied candidate then why have we no knowledge of him, why is every news report very peculiar. This whole situation with him smells and I think it should be investigated.I can't imagine why the party has ignored this very weird mess. SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING !

His odd behavior aside, are there no better photos of Greene? The same 3 out-of-focus poor quality photos only contribute to your bias against him. You can do better CNN.

This guy is a sad, sad example of someone running for office.

Of course all of the conservatives will state how he's just like all the other Dems...then in the same breath say "libtards are full of hate."

What is the obession with tagging libs as hateful? I will admit I hate your rhetoric, lies, and constant BS. So what?

Planted or coerced by the GOP to run as a Democrat with a problem. The GOPers would stoop so low to do something like that- run for the other party using a tainted candidate.

Howled, seriously? Like a dog howling or a wolf howling? This guy has got to go! Can there not be a serious Democrat in all of South Carolina who is willing and able to take on the Demented one – and I mean Jim Demented – not Alvin Green – although evidently, he is also beginning to seem demented! Help......

I say we should petition against all catholic churchs being near schools. That's insensitive to our beautiful children. There should be no catholic schools. The nerve of these catholics wanting to teach our children, my God, with all the priest running around. Let's start and bring the vile attitude about the mosque and join me in this righteous rebellion in the name of our beautiful children.
