Washington (CNN) – Former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin fired back at critics Wednesday, a day after EMILY's List, a women's group of abortion-rights advocates, launched a campaign against her.

In a Facebook message on the women's suffrage movement posted Wednesday, Palin responded to the group's attacks, part of a campaign titled "Sarah Doesn't Speak for Me."

"Unfortunately, I've recently come under attack for speaking up for sisters who seek to serve in public office," said Palin. "Regardless of whether the many candidates I've had the honor of endorsing win or lose this time around, I support them because they boldly shake things up in their primary races."

The EMILY's List campaign, launched Tuesday, features a video of women dressed in bear outfits that criticizes Palin's reference to "mama grizzlies" in her endorsements.

Palin responded Wednesday, saying, "First, ladies, it's hard to take a critic seriously when they lecture you wearing a bear suit. So, it's difficult for me to drum up much outrage at this latest ad.

"But, that aside, I'd love to know where you got those get-ups. Halloween is just around the corner, and Piper and Trig would look adorable as little grizzly bears," said Palin.

Palin said women don't walk in lockstep on politics any more than men do, and praised women for being able to engage in civil discussions and healthy debate.

"Words cannot express the depth of gratitude we owe to those brave feminist foremothers who struggled and sacrificed, endured imprisonment and ridicule, and fought fearlessly to grant future generations of American women a voice," Palin wrote in her message on the anniversary of women getting the right to vote.

In addition to her Facebook post, Palin tweeted, "Who hijacked term:"feminist"?A cackle of rads who want 2 crucify other women w/whom they disagree on a singular issue; it's ironic (& passé)."

It is unclear who Palin is blasting directly in this tweet.

However, EMILY's List responded to Palin's tweet ".@SarahPalinUSA you might've watched the video, but you & your allies aren't listening to women about #HCR , #FinReg & our families."

A Sarah Palin event next Thursday (Aug. 26) in Florida is being moved to a smaller venue because of underwhelming ticket sales.

The Jacksonville, FL, event is billed as an "Evening of Hope with Sarah Palin."

"Originally, it was slated for a 2,936-seat theatre, but now it's been moved to a 609 seat theatre,"

It is starting to really look like Sara Palin Stardom is falling faster and faster.

I noticed the women in the ad against Governor Palin looked ugly behind the bear make up, but then looking at reno, albright and others that is how most liberal females appear.

Palin taking to facebook and twitter to call people names sounds more like a high school cheer leader than a former half term mayor, govenor & faild vp candidate.

Is the "Mama "Grizzly" still spewing out that ignorant rhetoric. Man she really gets on my nerves. Especially the mama grizzly nicknames for women candidates. Get clue lady and disappear from the political scene. You look like a fool.

It is rather hard to make a witty comment about that which has no wit, an intelligent analysis of that which has no intelligence, or a decent appraisal of that which has no decency. She has watched Putin rear his head over Alaska? Which one? She is an appraiser of cojones? On what empiric experience? She and her "mama grizzlies" represent women in politics? That's an insult. This dumb ¥ should develop a sense of modesty and wear panties over her mouth.
