(CNN) - The Democratic National Committee is out Friday with a new television ad that looks forward to the November elections and closes with a cameo from former President George W. Bush.
Entitled "Big Choices," the ad frames the midterm elections as a choice between the policies of President Obama and national Democrats and the policies of Bush and the GOP. It captures a view of idealistic Americana –rolling fields of wheat, windmills, a teacher in a classroom, a welder in a factory–before Bush makes a surprise appearance with a verbal gaffe.
"You fool me, you can't get fooled again," Obama's Oval Office predecessor says in footage used in the ad.
The new 30-second spot is running on national cable stations.

Talk about being desperate, aren't you lefties tired of Bush bashing? Guess what, he isn't running. Is that all they have is old videos of their favorite boogeyman? What have you Dems done for us lately. Why don't you run on your record?
I wonder what the "policies of Bush and the GOP" actually are? Because for all the Obummer, Obozo, Socialist, Communist, etc. that we have heard since 2008, I don't remember hearing a policy in there anywhere. Where else but the GOP can someone hold a job for almost 2 years who are do absolutely nothing?
While I support our President, I feel that the DNC attacking Bush at this point is taking much focus away from the work at hand of improving the country.
History will remember Bush for the terrible things that he did; for ordering that missiles be fired into population centers full of Iraqi civilians among so many other crimes...Let global history remember the Republican Bush as it remembers Pol Pot.
This is truly pathetic. Bush is no longer President, he hasn't been for over 1 1/2 years. The President and the control of congress are with the Democratic party. Stop deflecting all of what has occurred over the past year and man up. Stop hiding behind smoke screens. Fix the issues or get out of the way.

Bush is not in power anymore. Get over it. Everyone knows he was not the best president. Let's start fixing things instead of blamming a person who can do nothing now. Besides that everything that has happened the past 18+ months is all under Obama not Bush.
