These groups know they have no legal grounds to act or they would.
They sight the Healthcare vote and whine that the law was circumventived. Hardly or the Republican leadership would have been all over it.
When above average income, older white folk get togehter , all you will hear is – we want to keep our and the hell with everyone else.
So many of these poeple benefitted from unions, goverment loans to business, and continue to benefit from Medicare and social security, you would think they would be greatful and wan to help others.
Instead, the want to cut off any help to those that need it, want ot stop immigration- not just illegal and let poeple suffer that aren't them.
This sort of greed and small-mindedness will cripple America.

That should've read "It's predicatble that now that we have a black president, "conservative" groups are coming out of the woodwork to complain about this country's immigration policy." Two things scare them silly: (1) Demographic studies indicate that whites will be merely a member of the plurality in a couple decades, not the majority, and they just saw what happens when the vast majority of minorities votes in droves for the minority candidate and (2) minorities tend to vote Dem and the GOP doesn't seem to be able to wrap its collective head around positions and rhetoric that doesn't alienate them. This is why "ship them all out" has become the battle cry...as opposed to "find a fiscally responsible solution that everyone can live with." They may not be able to prevent the inevitable demographic shift, but they think they can slow it...and they certainly don't want it sped up by giving people a reasonable, rational, coherent path towards citizenship.

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency expects to deport about 400,000 people this fiscal year, nearly 10 percent above the Bush administration's 2008 total and 25 percent more than were deported in 2007.
The pace of company audits has roughly quadrupled since President George W. Bush's final year in office.

The effort is part of President Obama's larger project "to make our national laws actually work.

... This President is doing more than the last one ... and the GOP sat on their hands and did nothing when they controlled Congress & the White House .... easier to complain than to do anything to solve the real problems!

But a state legislature enacting a pre-empted law with clear racial profiling overtones and creating inherent risks of violating the civil rights of actual citizens...that's not an abuse and doesn't polarize the issue at all, right? Wasn't unreasonable and detrimental to civil discourse on the subject either, right? Freekin morons.

Here is a thought on tactic that can be used to unravel the bad things and sort out the good things in the Bills and Executive Orders that have been crammed down Americas throat once Obama and his liberal progressive cronies are out in 2012. Full public disclosure of Barry Sotero's records, maternal passport records, his passport records, social security records, school loan and grant records, the whole enchilada. If and when they discover fraudulent activity or improprieties that would be questionable, the Congress may decide that as a sitting President he did or did not meet the criteria as established under our Constitution. Should it be that he did not or committed fraud in some way (say like applying for fed loans as a foreign student), every scrap of legislation signed into law becomes WORTHLESS... (I mean more than what it already is). This is what transpires when a candidate is not full and properly vetted, too many loose ends...

It's kind of concerning how people that have a differing opinion are so easily identified as racist. In the past when you heard someone accused of being a racist people stopped and listened. Now when someone is labeled as a racist it doesn't get the same reaction. It's dangerous because eventually when real racism issues do come up it won't get the attention it should. Surely the majority of our country isn't racist.

Let us look at what this group of Astroturf conservatives has been saying: 1. Brown-skinned people are swarming our shores to drop "anchor babies". 2. Pregnant enemies are flying in to drop "terror babies". 3. A giant "mosque" is being built "at" "Ground Zero" to triumph over the deaths of "real Americans" (neither other Americans or foreign citizens merit a tear) 4. The concept that being born in the United States confers American citizenship is a mistake. 5. The President is secretly conspiring to let a whole mob of foreigners in so they can drop brown-skinned, foreign terror babies. 6. Therefore, the President IS a brown-skinned, foreign terror baby, who infiltrated the highest office of the land. What is the unstated conclusion of all this? I remember exactly where I was on November 22, 1963. I remember how swiftly a sunny day darkened. It is the kind of day I never want to see again, but that is what this chain of "logic" is inciting - in all probability, intentionally. Responsible journalism does not spread this kind of thing. You, CNN, are increasingly wanting in responsibility.
