A man holds a sign at the ‘Restoring the Dream’ rally in Washington on Saturday.

(CNN) - Marc Morial, head of the National Urban League, told a civil rights rally on Saturday that "we will not stand silent as some seek to hijack, as some seek to distort and contort, as some seek to bamboozle and confuse the vision of Dr. King's dream."

Morial was speaking at the "Reclaim the Dream" rally, marking the 47th anniversary of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous "I Have a Dream" speech.

He spoke in northwestern Washington as conservatives rallied at conservative talk show host Glenn Beck's "Restore Honor" event at the Lincoln Memorial, a few miles away.

I see Beck has plenty of supporters for his "Restore Bigotry" rally...disgusting.

Apparently MLK's daughter sees things differently, since she's speaking at Beck's rally.

This thing with Beck sends chills down my spine, like I am witnessing the birth of something truly evil. Fourth Reich evil. I fear for our children and the world they will have to live in.

Morial's statement further confirms the fact that he and the NUL are racist to the core.

CNN's day long effort to belittle the Restore Honor rally is despicable.

This idiot, Like Al Sharpton doesn't realize that Beck has great respect for MLK and honors him and his cause on a daily basis. There the racist liberal organizations go again.....jumping to wrong conclusions.

Beck is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He represents an evil force in America, one determined to force a merger of religion and government, and use that tool to satisfy his own personal financial and maniacal ego requirements. The right-wing is more dangerous to our Country than any terrorist organization, because they are funded by the corporate elite and populated by mindless religious drones. Make no mistake, Beck's only interest in "honor" is the type of honor defined by the white, rich, religious wingers. Mainstream Americans are not represented in his vision.

I love the feedback from one of the most racist organizations on the planet.

    NAACP is a joke....

For those who will say anything about the MLK's niece that was at the 'Restore (the) Honor'...
    So what?
Relative per relative, Nieztsche's sister was a big Nazi supporter and she allowed her brother's books and essays to be distorted beyond recognition by Goebbels & Co. in order to support the Nazism...
Use a relative of a famous person, specially after he or she is dead, to link the person's name and fame to anything that is not easily associated to that famous person is old (lame) politics school...

A King family member is speaking there. Stop with the race baiting. If the Urban League was a white organization it would be called racist but since its black its ok. UGH!!!

The loathsome Beck has earned all the criticism and more. He's a liar and hypocrite who doesn't hesitate to "play the race card." And for all his anti-Islamic center rants, he's mighty hypocritical to be so insensitive to those who know MLK was the polar opposite of Beck with his belief in social justice.

It is truly arrogant and ignorant for the “Glen Becks” of the world to pretend they have even an ounce of Dr. Martin Luther King and HIS ideals in them. Quite to the contrary! Dr. King dreamed of a world where people were judged by their character. Glen Beck (and all the other GOPers) cannot speak of a good character because he and his fiends do not have one. The same goes of “restoring Honor”. He does not have any honor to start with – so nothing to restore!

Hate hate hate. coming frm the left. at least theyre obvious about their contempt and intolerance for conservatives so its no longer a question wether they are prejudiced against a large portion of the population 4 what they believe

Why are these people so full of hate. Dr. Martin Luther was a great man and wanted us all to be united. I don't understand why these people are so against it.

Why is it that black activists the likes of Sharpton and Jealous have to play the race card? The Glenn Beck rally to Reclaim our Honor isn't about black or white, it's about American Honor!

American honor that has been besmerched and degraded by a President and Congress, both black and white!

As usual you people didn't listen to the rally. Glen Beck was praising outstanding Americans with Dr. King at the top of the list. However he would be at the bottom of mine with his immoral ways and mistrtesses. You want to make him your king then do so but don't set there and critizize other viewpoints when you have no ideal what was even said. Try to work on your man in the Oval office. He is supposed to be your hero instead his goal is to destroy America.

Marc Morial and others like him are the real
intolerant American's who threaten American freedom.
Dr King did not mean to exclude anyone from his
    dreams based on color.
The so called civil rights leaders of today are more
bigotted and racist than the whites were in the 1950's.

Why criticize? Just join in and celebrate America.

The rally was good for all that attended. The only people criticizing are those that didn't attend, have no idea what was said (ignorance is bliss) and had an agenda of their own.
