Obama: They talk about me like a dog

(CNN) – Those following President Obama's prepared remarks during a speech in Milwaukee, Wisconsin Monday were thrown a bit of a curveball when it came to a description of his critics:

"Some powerful interests who had been dominating the agenda in Washington for a very long time and they're not always happy with me. They talk about me like a dog. That's not in my prepared remarks, but it's true," he told a crowd largely consisting of union members.

The line was a rare departure from a president who normally sticks close to the text of his speech and may forecast a more aggressive tone on the part of Obama as the midterms approach.

The address is the first of two speeches this week in which Obama will try and frame his administration's response to the recession, less than two months ahead of midterm elections where Democratic majorities in the House and Senate are on the ropes.

He must know he is a dog to make that comment. truth hurts. Have been a democrat for 46 years, but after that idiot got in office, I changed to the real party- republican! I have never seen such an egotistical, self-centered person who always blames everyone else for his mistakes.

Obama just doesn't like the fact that most Americans love their country and don't won't him to change it by turning it into some socialist utopia modeled after a sytem that has failed whenever it's been tried. The man has no shame and lies constantly about what he's doing and takes credit for things sucessful that he had nothing to do with like the recent removal of troops from Iraq which was agreed to months before he came to office as our president.

Now Obama knows how Bush felt during the Obama campaign. Obama said some pretty nasty things about Bush and the GOP, he is getting a taste of his own medicine. It comes with the job, if Obama doesn't like it he can always resign!!!

I watched the president's speech today! What a shock! He has lost all his presidential charm and is now in "community organizer" mode.
    It was hard to watch

It's time the President takes a stand on the verbal abuses from the Repubs. All they do is complain, complain, but have done nothing to support those in Washington that have been working hard to bring our country back to stability. Thank you, Mr. President and all the hard working Democrates who have been working hard to clean up the mess left behind by the last admin.

The Republicans that are ripping the President can not even come close to matching him for intelligence and passion. I mean John Boner-are you kidding...this guy cares more about his tan and his Scotch than the American people.

If America returns these Republican clowns to power in November–they get everythingn they deserve-problem is–the rest of us have to put up with it as well...

Less than two years in office – left with a huge mess to fix + the unexpected challenges like BP & the oil spill ... all people do is complain!
    Yes, times are tough!

But just what do you think the GOP is going to do? When John Boehner was asked what the Republican agenda would be if they won election, the man smugly replied, “TBD" = “To be determined!”

The republicans believe, and have said so, that – if properly stoked – public anger alone can carry the party over the finish line.

They’ve also said that getting “bogged down in the issues” is a distraction and even a potential liability.

Totally simple minded to vote for a party that brags they have no plans or policies except to stir up foolish anger and so spineless they won't even discuss the issues!
