Haley launches first TV ad of general election

South Carolina gubernatorial candidate Nikki Haley is out Tuesday with her first TV ad of the general election.

(CNN) – South Carolina gubernatorial hopeful Nikki Haley promises voters "an honest conservative government we can be proud of" in her first television ad of the general election.

The 30-second spot, titled "Movement," will begin airing on statewide network and cable channels on Wednesday, Haley's campaign told CNN.

"All across South Carolina, there's a movement taking hold," a narrator says as viewers see images of the Republican candidate greeting voters on the campaign trail.

The ad presses the outsider message that proved so potent for Haley in her tough Republican primary fight earlier this year against three rivals. It's also an implicit criticism of the legislative gridlock in Columbia that took hold under Gov. Mark Sanford, one of Haley's political patrons.

"It's a movement to take back our government," a Haley supporter says in the ad. "To stop talking about creating jobs, and to start doing it," says another.

Haley's Democratic opponent is state Sen. Vincent Sheheen.

  3. Can't We All Just Get Along?

The words "honest" and "conservative" and "government" are contradictions in terms.

Also, it's South Carolina. Just like Arizona, their idea of "government" is something real Americans want no part of. Their idea of "government" is unAmerican.

GOP can handle budget slightly better than Democrats, this is from CNN. Does anyone remember the 8 years Bush and the GOP? REMINDER: two unnecessary wars, no regulation for wall street, and not a single care about the economy. GOP ways and two wars got us here and it is not going to get us out of it. Things will get better with the things Obama has sit in motion and the GOP will take credit, then fail to move on anything and then the Democrats will be back in office to clean up the mess again.

I am excited about voting for her in November. I will vote ALL Dems out regardless of my voting past. Might as well vote Republican across the board (even though some of them arent really to my liking BUT it would "be alot worse if we continue on this road").

She's a sure winner. South Carolina is as red as the communist flag, so no Democrat would have a chance there anyway. She could probably shoot the mayor of Charleston and still win by a mile in that redneck paradise. I've been to South Carolina and only the city of Cincinnati has more lunatics.

So in her mind, any government officials not conservative, is dishonest and not worthy of trust? Come on, as if there are not just as many Republican crooks either running for office or already in there. And Haley thinks that people will be proud of any government run by Brewer, Angle, and Palin, she is looking for a surprise in November.

You have to be wary of anyone who uses the word "honest" associated with politics. We all know there's nothing honest or decent in American politics, whatsoever.

The South Carolina governor's election is a no contest. This state, like most southern states is so extremist republican, that Jack the Ripper could get elected as a republican!

Niki Haley's real name is Nimrata Nikki Randhawa Haley,
However, in a clear sign of her shying away from being known as an "Indian" immigrant, she has changed her name or confused votes about her own identity.
How can I trust her with my vote if she can't trust herself with her own name?

"So in her mind, any government officials not conservative, is dishonest and not worthy of trust? "

She didn't say that but since the last Democrat to even make an attempt at telling the truth was JFK, it kinda goes without saying.

Nikki Haley will be Gov of South Carolina. Of course the Government run news media don't like her because they're prejudiced against women. Think about it Hillary, Palin, Haley they do it to all of them.
