Obama missing from Democrats' campaign ads

Missouri's Republican State Committee links President Obama's health care reform bill to Robin Carnahan.

Missouri's Republican State Committee links President Obama's health care reform bill to Robin Carnahan.

Washington (CNN) - In 2008, Democratic candidates peppered campaign ads with images, video and audio of then-presidential candidate Barack Obama.

But a lot has changed in two years.

Republicans have used Obama in nearly 300 ads this year and "close to $40 million has been spent on these ads, basically trying to attach Democrats to this president," said Evan Tracey, president and founder of Campaign Media Analysis Group.

Case in point: An ad by Missouri's Republican State Committee takes aim at Robin Carnahan, the Democrat running for U.S. Senate, and her support for Obama's health care reform bill.

Clearly this incompetent, inept, corrupt, union toady is a one term president and will go down in history as our worst. The bad thing is we are stuck with him for 2 more years.

  2. What No Tingle ?

Seems golden boy has fallen from grace with his own party, the cowards who supported him in 08 are now running away as fast as they can. Even they can see that this socialistic attitude of the leaders of the admin and congress are destroying the country. If he gets this cap and trade disaster pushed through, it will further crush an already failing economy, that the so called health care reform bill (welfare in disguise) has put a damper on. The stimulus bills and bailouts were pushed through to satisfy unions and other cronies and to provide more government control over every industry they can get their hands on.HOPE in november all this mess CHANGES.

Any person who voted against health reform does not deserve to be elected. Residents of California were looking at 50% premium increases, and thanks to the Obama administration, it did not happen. How the republicans can sell their snake oil, and convince the voters that it will help the average American is beyond reason.

From 2002 to 2008, when Republicans controlled the House and Senate, Republicans literally rubberstamped everything Bush did...and the media said NOTHING. On the contrary, when laws are being debated there is actually a discussion within the Democratic Party.

You would think that democrats would realize how much good the president has accomplished in less than two years. Until the conservatives hijacked the republican party, even republican presidents wanted some type of health reform. The stimulus, health reform, Wall Street reform, veteran's benefits, regulations on the too big to fail banks, $20 billion from BP to help the people in the gulf whose livelihood has been ruined are just a few of the reasons to reelect those who support our president.

It's like trying to use the fact that she is for Socialist fire departments against America really that stupid to believe all these lies?

In other news, Obama also missing in action on how to fix the economy... The old shovel ready road, rail and airport infrastructure stimulus being thrown out again... yeah, that worked so well the first time around...

It isn't just that they aren't using President Obama for help to get reelected. Some of them aren't even putting the word "democrat" in their ads to identify themselves. What's that tell you? So much for the alleged mandate the Democrats think they got last election. That election was more about not being George Bush or any of the other Washington insiders.

Hippies, did your parents teach you no manners? You need to dance with the date "who brung you."

Dance with this clown, hippie-kids. You brought him. He's your date, socialist warts, failed economy and subsequently-low approval numbers and all.

Have fun running on your "record" hippies. See you in 40 years.

Who can blame them? Many of us also made the mistake of supporting Obama. Democrats had their golden opportunity to show us what they are all about. And they did just that. Now the country is paying the price for that decision. I for one will not be making that mistake this election.

Robin Carnahan is essentially trying to run using Republican issues. However, Blunt is successfully tying Carnahan to Obama, and that won't sell in Missouri this year.

That's Okay, Obama won't be running until 2012. The candidates need to get there own house in shape. As long as they are absolutely pro-middle class and pro-small business, the elections will turn out just fine for them. They do need to get very aggressive. Hopefully, Obama can light the fire under their butts.

They REFUSE to secure the border, sue states for enforcing laws, while they REFUSE to enforce laws on the books.

The American people have seen and heard enough of this insanity. BYE BYE DEMOCRATS!!

Roy Blunt was the rubber stamp for two ridiculous wars, illegal rendition and interrogation, un-Constitutional wiretapping of every citizen, and a prescription drug plan that adds a billion dollars to the deficit every year. Where was his integrity when Bush/Cheney were shredding the Constitution and running up our Chinese debt? He has no integrity.

The RepubliCAN'Ts are tying President Obama to all of the Democrats in their ads and the Democrats are JUMPING SHIP!!!!

You know what? The PUNKoCRATS better get wise and think about their BASE, which are the people who will put them back into office!!! We did not vote them in to JUMP SHIP!!! They were put there for a purpose and they better stick with it or LOSE!!!

If the Democrats were SMART, they will include President Obama in their ads just to show the RepubliCAN'Ts that WE CAN STICK TOGETHER and are not afraid of their 'fear-mongering'!!

But OH, that is WISHFUL THINKING on the Democrat's BASE part!! We already realize that the Democrats we fought to put into office turned out to be WEAKLINGS!!!

DEMOCRATS BETTER UNITE AND VOTE IN NOVEMBER – regardless of the 'wimpies' in office – just to keep the EXTREMIST OUT and get President Obama's agenda done – it's ONLY been two years!!!

The Dems now are shunning the liability, of being associated with the spendthrift, and the President who has gone against the will of the people, to pass his own branded legislation, no one else wanted.

"The stately White House East Room, home to many a bill signing and ceremonial gathering, becomes a stage Tuesday for pirouettes, jetes, gravity-defying leaps and maybe even some bumps and grinds as Michelle Obama inaugurates a new dance series."
Is it 2012 yet so we can rid the White House of this narcissistic pair of imbeciles? Do they have even a clue that the country is imploding around them as they dance, party and vacation their way through their one four-year term? 2012 can't get here fast enough so that we can restore some dignity and decorum to the White House.
