Wrong, Obama. Which one of your professors who have never lived in anything besides the theoretical told you that?

  2. Randolph Carter, I'm no expert, but...

You want to balance the budget? Defund the military. I mean, they haven't won a war in 65 years and even then the Russians did most of the heavy lifting. What the heck are we paying them for? Have a nice day!

    Yeah,
This is right up there with 'the check is in the mail", and "the Easter Bunny called to offer the Brooklyn Bridge for sale"

Yes and this is the "summer of prosperity" and Obozocare will not cost us one dime more. Stupid time to be saying that. Most people that actually work and pay taxes are going to be renewing their insurance in the next couple of months. Be ready for the sticker shock. Obozos people are getting their health insurance out of your money, so they can spend more on the illegal drugs they consume.

  5. ARMY VETERAN FOR THE TRUTH!

"skyrocketing medical costs will ultimately decline" Who does OBAMA think he is kidding. This mentality is exactly what I have been telling you about. This man has no ideal how to run a country. This is our tax dollars that is paying all the medical costs for the illegals that he stupidily calls Imirgrants. WHAT A FOOL THEY ARE CROOKS. THE SAME AS BURGULARS WHO STEAL ALL YOUR VALUABLE.S. THEY'RE STEALING OUR TAX DOLLARS. Whats more our laws are letting them. We are a stupid breed to allow people to be in position to destroy this country. WE HAVE AMERICANS HERE WHO NEED HELP BUT CAN NOT GET IT BECAUSE THEY'RE NOT THIEVES WHO SNEAK INTO THE COUNTRY IN THEMIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. THEN THE OBAMANITES GO TO DANCING AROUND THE POT LIKE THE HEATHERNS THEY ARE. THEY CALL THEMSELVES EDUCATED. GIMME A BREAK.. THIS NARRATION IS COMING FROM A MAN WHO WAS A DEMOCRAT FOR FIFTY YEARS. BUT WOKE UP TO THE IMMORALS OF DEMOCRATS BECAUSE OF ONE BEING WHO I CAN NOT CALL A MAN. HE IS THE SCOURAGE OF AMERICA AND WILL DESTROY US IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS. GET RID OF HIM NOW.

Medical insurance costs were going to skyrocket whether there was health care reform or not. It is the result of having corporations in the health care business that must pay dividends and pay theri hard working CEO's 6 million dollar bonuses, funded upon outrageous premiums and a 30% refusal of coverage, the majority of which, when appealed, are overturned.
America, try to lenthen your attention span to more than 15 seconds and give reform a chance. By the way, there would have been no skyrocketing costs itf there was a public option, but the GOP made sure that that was not going to happen to their friends in the insurance business.

As Keynes once said in the long run we are all dead. Obama should understand that he is the President now and should act like one. He is not on the campaign trail (where he is on taxpayers expense) telling one lie after another. This arrogance must stop ahd he should (if this is possible) try to act as the chief executive officer of this divided Nation (thanks to him). Yes, Obama reminds me of the "popcorn theory" - much noise but no substance. It wont be long before we can put him in his right profession - the distrustful traveling salesman.

  8. President Obozo: On vacation and OUT TO LUNCH

For the life of me I don't understand WHY Obozo keeps saying Obozocare will reduce medical costs when EVERYBODY says and knows it will do the exact opposite! This fool is the ultimate pathelogical liar.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense–coverning MORE people who previously had no insurance will eventually cost me LESS. What an economic genius we have for a president! To bad the reality is it will actually end up costing every working American an extra $1000 annually.

I bet he also thinks that raising my taxes will make me want to spur the economy by spending more.

When will the idiotic dems realize that WORKING people drive the economy, not those subsisting on the government dole? Ah–probably November 3rd!

Wow the "I want it now generation" is obviously jumping. What he said makes perfect sense, this is a process not an immediate fix. This will help to control rising costs – would you prefer an 8 or 10% increase or 6.3%? Increased costs in health care are as inevitable as increases in costs of everything else. It's inevitable. So many are so quick to rail on a what they consider an immediate negative without looking at the long term outlook and without gathering all the facts. Take a deep breath and educate yourselves, the information is out there. Slow down the increases, and work on ways to continue to reduce the costs. It takes time.

Big Pharma and Nixon's ugly grandchild, HMOs, will never allow costs to do anything but go up. There is much more money in keeping us sick than there is in keeping us healthy.

That is a lie and he knows it. The health care bill has already caused an average increase cost to the taxpayers of 9 percent. This is expected(by economists)to happen every year for the next 10 years. Just wait until they add the 32 million(including illegals). The cost this year was 09 percent and we will pay for another three years before anyone receives health care under this bill.

Yep, and unemployment won't get any higher than 8%, the summer of 2010 will be the summer of recovery, PAYGO actually means something, we'll get 5 days to review bills, and it's all Bush's fault.

PS Randolph Carter! Nice moronic comments about the military!

BTW, to i d i o t Randolph Carter–we won in Iraq and Kuwait, but I suppose America Laster's like you only want us to lose all the time.

He is right. Our country cannot ignore our healthcare problem. We spend more than any other industrialized country right now and we don't even cover all our citizens (as all the rest do). President Obama is not afraid to take on the insurance companies who will insist (and maybe even purposely make it so) that healthcare reform holding them accountable is bad for our country. If they can't play nice we can always add the public option and give them some real competition.

My BC/BS policy just went up 12% – so if it keeps going up at that rate and then in four years when the full health care plan goes into effect starts going down it's not going to mean much.

Medical costs have gone up for decades because some citizens cannot afford health insurance, some citizens CAN afford health insurance but no insurer will take them, and finally there aresome citizens who choose not to purchase health insurance at all. In this country such individuals will not be denied life-saving care. However, when such care is given it must be paid for. In order to keep its doors open medical facilities, especially hospitals, must make up the shortage in revenue. They do this by charging more for the care of those who have insurance and looking to government (We the Taxpayer) to reimburse them for care provided to those who have no insurance. When every citizen has health insurance health care costs will eventually go down. Insurance premiums will also go down as well because the risks for insurers with a larger pool of customers will decrease. The ultimate result, which will take time, is that the govt will be using less taxpayer dollars to reimburse providers and the private sector insurance industry will pick up the bulk of the costs.
Of course, I don't expect anyone who lacks critical thinking skills to understand all this.

Of course they will decline. Look at it from this perspective. One little kid opens up a lemonade stand and sell his product for 10 cents. Across the street another little kid opens a lemonade stand and sells his product for 15 cents. Everyone hits the cheaper lemonade stand, According to the Rethugs what that means is the one with the more expensive product will actually raise the price of his product to keep from going out of business. What i cant understand why so many people fell for it. Oh well, stupid is as stupid does
