(CNN) - President Barack Obama insisted Friday that skyrocketing medical costs will ultimately decline as more people are covered due to his administration's health care reform initiative.

Yes, and Obama has never told an lie in the past. So I guess unemployment has not gone above 8% either? This president is such an incompetent and classless individual. And 40% of the population think he is doing a good job? Imagine McCain was elected and he did everything identical to what Obama did and was sitting today, almost two years later, in the economy we have right now. Do you think for a moment any of these 40% would STILL be saying McCain was doing a good job? No you wouldn't and that, my friends, is called a kool-aid drinking hypocrite.
All you Obama supporters need to wake up and realized that Obama has damaged this country so badly in less than two years it is quite possible your children will not have the standard of living we had growing up. Open your eyes and look around you....This president (who, by the way, I would like to hear just ONCE say he loves this country) is a Community Organizer that is way over his head.....
But the rates will only decline if we re elect Odumbo. Thats a promise, he will tell you so, just listen to him. He is the one!

But realize, if he were comatose for two years he'd still be pulling a 33% job approval from the kool-aid drinkers. So, seasonally adjusted for schizophrenic respondents, he's now at 10% approval. What up America before all of us are praying on a carpet.

What a relief! I was worried that it would add to the uncertity of the economy and make the economic recovery "painfully slow". The smoke is clearing and Obama's mirrors are falling...
The reason healthcare costs have gone up, is because someone must pay for the millions of Americans that are uninsured. Once these folks have healthcare, they costs will go down.
Also, don't forget that Big Insurance jacked up their prices in advance of the new Healthcare Bill. They want to gouge us, consumers all they can!
Thank God for Healthcare, now no one can be denied healthcare if they are critical ill. No one can be denied because they have a preexisting condition.
I am always amazed that the GOP who claims to be "pro-life" is against Healthcare and Healthcare Reform. Doesn't the GOP want to save America lives?

The Insurance Industry is out of control, they start you out with cheap premiums only to triple in a few years, and they have the nerve to blame Obama. Some ignorant people actually fall for that.

I would agree with him if there was a public option included in the plan. As it stands now, the insurance companies are increasing rates because they cannot drop people with pre-existing conditions and they do not have a not-for-profit competitor. However, this plan is better than what the Repugnican'ts had to offer...which is absolutely nothing.

How can Obama still lie when nobody believes him about that? The medical cost will go up and up under his medical care plan and the quality of the medical will go down and down. I don't know why this president is doing everything against the will of the majority people.

It is obvious that some of you simply will not give Obama any credit. It doesn't matter what he does. Let's just call it what it is (fill in blank). This has nothing to do with the economy, wars, environment, religion, etc.
This country will not progress until some of you simply die off. The prejudice ingrained in your brains needs to die off. Only the youth of today are color-blind and able to see mankind as equal. I have more confidence in a Meaghan McCain, than I do in a Gingrich, or Bachmann anyday!
As a former medical center administrator, I assure you the President is correct. It's simple cost averaging. The more healthy people that are insured will bring overall costs per insured down, ultimately reducing costs across the board. More importantly, with passage of the health care bill, thousands of American lives will be saved each year, thousands fewer will be forced into bankruptcy, and the waste in our current system will be minimized. All this, and it will decrease our deficit by over a trillion dollars in ten years. How anyone can not see this as an exceptional achievement dazzles me.

I certainly hope so, but seriously, until the price gouging stops in the medical care community/insurance/pharmaceutical companies, the best healthcare in the world won't stop having skyrocketing prices.
However, we now have healthcare available - too bad it's 20 years too late. That's because the GOP just want to kill off everyone except the 2% of US population that have all the money.
