(CNN) – If you are a friend of Don Unsworth, a Georgia businessman who recently passed away, don't send flowers to the family. Just vote against President Obama in 2012.

That was the message conveyed in Unsworth's obituary, according to CNN affiliate station WIS.

"In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, or to the campaign of anybody who is running against President Barack Obama in 2012," said the obituary, which ran in the local newspaper.

Donna Barnes said Unsworth was "not really a big Obama fan," taking issue with the stimulus bill and high unemployment rate.

"We just felt like it was the best tribute we could give to him," said Barnes.

A similar plea appeared in the obituary pages of the Las Vegas Review-Journal in July, only the family of Charlotte McCourt asked readers not to vote for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Everyone is missing the point, albeit not by much...The sad thing is that the family wants the man's living friends to vote AGAINST someone, and not FOR anything....This is exactly the problem conservatives in general are facing....They have no ideas, just more sour grapes...They will take back power in the House, Senate, and White House when they start campaigning FOR the American people rather than just campaigning AGAINST progressive ideas...:-)

why is it that you people assume that this man is against Obama becasue he is BLACK? You people need to get a life. We can disagree with Mr. Obama and nto be called racists. I am Hispanic and can't stand most of what he stands for.

Oh I love the "race" excuse from Dumocrats. You keep thinking that's the problem.

I hope the Republicans or Tea Party or Libertians find some Hispanic, or Black Man, or Woman to run for President so we can sit back and accuse DUMocRATS of being racist or sexist.

OBOZO's policies stink, and the truth hurts.

Just beause OBOZO is worse than Carter the Dumocrats can't handle it.

LOL, those who say that this guy will be the one not to vote in 2012 must be dems. How could a Dem say that knowing the dead people voted in the last election thanks to Acorn. Nothing in the Obit said anything about Obama being black. You libtards really have no argument agains the fact hat this president of nearly 2 years is the worst in US history other than he's black. You libs sure do have lots of intelligence. What it realy is, is that you can't believe you voted for the man BECAUSE he is black. See who the real racists are.

  8. Can't We All Just Get Along?

Please don't judge all Georgians by this man. Most of us do have class and respect the president. Most of us would not be so crass or hateful or low-down as to have written anything like that.

    FACT!!

P.S. Some people are just down right STUPID!!
