(CNN) – If you are a friend of Don Unsworth, a Georgia businessman who recently passed away, don't send flowers to the family. Just vote against President Obama in 2012.
That was the message conveyed in Unsworth's obituary, according to CNN affiliate station WIS.
"In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, or to the campaign of anybody who is running against President Barack Obama in 2012," said the obituary, which ran in the local newspaper.
Donna Barnes said Unsworth was "not really a big Obama fan," taking issue with the stimulus bill and high unemployment rate.
"We just felt like it was the best tribute we could give to him," said Barnes.
A similar plea appeared in the obituary pages of the Las Vegas Review-Journal in July, only the family of Charlotte McCourt asked readers not to vote for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

my condolences to your family for his passing. not to be very insensitive, but being that he was from georgia, I think its fair to ask, did he know that Bushy approved all of the stimulus, he actually signed for AIG Golman Sachs, BoA, Wells Fargo, Citi. President Obama just signed off on what Bushy termed, "too big to fail" with GM. did he know that? do you as being alive know that, or I wont even ask, because with racism dead, i know it couldnt be because President Obama is black.

This family doesn't know the difference between important things, like life and death, an unimportant things, like a person's political views post mortum. The dead only know one thing; it is better to be alive.

Also, why don't you say why...he didn't create this economy he inherited it and the stimulus – well let's just say that wasn't something he wanted to do it was something his advisers suggested to help the economy.....but some people and big business just won't cut loose with the money or quit paying extreme salaries to the richest of the rich! like they say the rich get richer and the poor get poorer and the middle class doesn't exist any more thanks in part to people with their heads in the sand like you!

The now-deceased was unfortunately quite ignorant about the irony of his last wishes. Cancer research funding was dramatically reduced under the Bush administration (reaching at times to less than 10% of projects funded), in favor of out of control biodefense spending. Only under the Obama has the amount allocated to cancer research been restored.
President Bush had the first Stimuls package and high unempolyment began while he was still in office. Then everything crashed. Some people are so blinded by the facts. GET REAL!!!!!!
