(CNN) – If you are a friend of Don Unsworth, a Georgia businessman who recently passed away, don't send flowers to the family. Just vote against President Obama in 2012.

That was the message conveyed in Unsworth's obituary, according to CNN affiliate station WIS.

"In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, or to the campaign of anybody who is running against President Barack Obama in 2012," said the obituary, which ran in the local newspaper.

Donna Barnes said Unsworth was "not really a big Obama fan," taking issue with the stimulus bill and high unemployment rate.

"We just felt like it was the best tribute we could give to him," said Barnes.

A similar plea appeared in the obituary pages of the Las Vegas Review-Journal in July, only the family of Charlotte McCourt asked readers not to vote for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

What a great tribute, even if the guy or GIRL running against President Obama wants to bring back racism, cause business' should have the right to serve or NOT SERVE who they want. Or, even if they want "JO SIX PACK" I UNDERSTAND, PRESIDENTS ARENT IMPORTANT. ALTHOUGH IT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT JOB IN THE WORLD.

After listening to the Imam last night speaking on CNN with Soledad O'brien, I have mixed feelings on the Muslim faith and resultantly President Obama. At this time, I am willing to let each of these men have their way...let the Imam build his mosque and let Obama take care of the business as usual as president.

Ask Unsworth how he felt about stem cell research. He may have been able to vote against him in person.

Just shows you that people in their grave are displeased with the Messiah. I'll be glad when November 2012 does arrive. The economy will still be in the tank thanks to Obama's mishandling, and overblown government. Granted Bush wasn't the greatest, but compared to Obama. There is no comparing them.
Let's get rid of the socialist, liberals, and progressives. And anyone eise that wants to destroy t his great country.

Well at least they are dead now and that will be one less nutcase on the streets. We will have to watch out for their red necks families who honored such a request. They must have had a lot of yard sales just to get the money to bury them and get such foolishness printed.

I guess I will never understand the hatefullness of some people in this country. I'm sorry this man (I won't use the word gentleman) had cancer, but he and his family must be true rednecks to put something like this in the paper as a remberance of his life. How very sad.

The GOP's obituary will say the same thing, only asking people to vote against Palin.

When are the angry people who are upset that a black president is in the White Houston going to get over this? Obama didn't create all the problems in the U.S.!

That may just be the most disrespectful thing I have ever heard of, to hijack a man's obituary for political gain. "We just felt like it was the best tribute we could give to him..." Seriously? Not "We loved him, we will never forget him, he was a man among men," but "Vote for anybody but Obama"?

    What horrible, horrible human beings.

I'm thinking this guy may not be the only racist in Georgia... He does have the right to make that request. To "honor" his wishes I plan to contribute a large donation to President Obama – the finest President of my 63 years!

It is unbelievable how angry the white men are. This act takes it beyond the grave. How easy one can forget, all of this mess happened under Geroge Bush and Dick Cheney.

Wow...taking hate to the grave...I wonder who he met when he got on the other side?....It couldn't have been Jesus's territory.....Who's elected in 2012 should be the last thing he needed to be worried about when he left here...especially since he's not coming back this way, and going to be where he is for all eternity....

Stupid, I am sure that the families of many of the almost 5,000 service men and women that died in Iraq to fight Bushes fake war would also not want anyone to vote for the GOP. Likely that this mans family are just a bunch of racist bastards, the high unemployment rate by the way is completely the fault of the GOP and the stimulous was to prevent the unemployment rate from being upwards of 15% due to the actions of the GOP.
