Palin talks presidential announcement

Sarah Palin discussed a potential 'big national announcement' at an event in Alaska on Saturday.

Sarah Palin discussed a potential 'big national announcement' at an event in Alaska on Saturday.

(CNN) – When Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck teamed up for a September 11 commemoration in Alaska over the weekend, the talk-radio host couldn't help but ask the former vice presidential nominee if she was going to run for president.

Palin deflected the question, according to the Anchorage Daily News, but did say where she would make her big announcement, that is, if there is a big announcement to make.

"If there is going to be some big national announcement I'm going to do it where it's most worthy. I'm going to do something big, even bigger than Glenn Beck. It's going to happen on the Bob and Mark show," she said, referencing Alaska's KWHL's talk radio show.

After the wildly successful rally on the National Mall, Palin and Beck teamed up again for the event in Alaska over the weekend – but this time for a cost.

In sharp contrast to the free event in Washington last month, tickets to this latest Palin-Beck affair ran as high as $225 – a price tag that some Democrats are making hay about given the somber timing of the event.

But a Beck spokesperson told CNN Palin did not receive an appearance fee, and Beck plans to donate his to charity.

"Glenn had always intended to donate the speaking fee from the event on Saturday, September 11th in Alaska to Special Operations Warrior Foundation. Governor Palin is not and was never going to receive a fee for introducing Glenn at this event," a spokesperson for Glenn Beck told CNN.

Run, baby, run! I would dearly love to see the GOP's feelings on this. If this country thought Hillary polarized the people, wait until this know-it-all (she thinks!!!!) tries to run. It will be four years more for the President!!!!!

She's a half brained ex half term governor who isn't qualified to be the leader of an outhouse cleaning crew of one.

It's in very poor taste for Palin and Beck to make money off of those who died on 9/11/2001.

299 million people are smart enough to know that she is never ever going to grace the Whitehouse. She is about as far from Presidential material as one could be. She could not handle being Mayor of Wasilla and caved under pressure as Governor after she ran as a ceremonial VP candidate. The only big news she would announce is that she is going to make more money with a new scam. Satan is one of the few that could be proud of her accomplishments, which are all for herself and only herself.

Nothing really to say. I still don't see how anyone could vote for a person who QUIT on her state. Whether you like her or not, when things got hot, she QUIT on Alaskans. Would she do the same for the rest of us????

    It is a fair question.

Hopefully, Palin's big announcement will be that she's learned to tie her shoes, and will celebrate by moving back to Wasila, Alaska and staying there forever. The fact that this talentless beauty queen and failed "sports journalist" ever made it to the national stage is a national embarrassment.

This BIGGEST and BEST announcement that Palin could make is that she is going away(not to be heard from ever again) and not going to be a big pain to the great citizens of the United States anymore. My God can't she at least do that for us.

I love this country with all of my heart and soul, but it's embarrassing to think that there are American citizens, and a great many of them, mind you, that actually think that Sarah Palin is qualified to be President, including Palin, herself. A talk show host, maybe, but leader of the free world, Commander in Chief.... come on!!!!! There's that whole inconvenient separation of church and state thing, too. Republicans(including Tea Partiers), if you truly want the White House back in 2012, you better wake up and smell the ignorance.

Aside from not having the smarts to be a credible nominee, Sarah Palin would undoubtedly quit as soon as the going becomes too difficult.

Maybe if they offer her BIG BUCKS for the job; lots of clothes;perks for her family; a co-presidental seat for Todd, just maybe the ticket Palin/Beck will run! Unfortunately, they will have to start a new party, since the Repbulicans can only see her as a prop to draw crowds. She reads their prepared speeches well, to support candidates she has never met nor knows nothing about., but the public has seen through her. Can't wait to see what the new party, GARBAGE BAGGERS, will do!

Please no. That is one person that will NEVER EVER get my vote. She quit on the Alaskans, who is to say she wouldn't do the same thing to us. She is a bag of hot air, along with Glenn Worthless Beck, and the really big mouth Rush I don't do Drugs Limbaugh.

If the republicans select this twit straw brained money hungry ego tripping piece of crap for president nomination, they all deserve to be run out of this country on a rail heavily tarred and feathered. How darn dumb can you be and still be revered by the so called "LIBRUL" press that is republican corporate owned. That is the spewing lie pushed by fox the republican 24/7 infomerical channel. And CNN trying to follow right along their butt. Any body who does not have straw for brains would know that a republican owned corporation would not push liberal values. But the vacant brained people who watch fox can't help it, they don't have any brains to tell the difference between the corporate lies and the truth. Post this CNN if you are skewed toward your republican masters.

How would a Beck spokesperson know if Palin received a fee or not? If $he was there, $he got paid something; $he does nothing for free!!

And when are you folks going to realize that $arah "$how Me The Money" Palin is NOT going to run for President in 2012. And give up all the $$$ she commands and demands now! That's a no-brainer.

A day that was supposed to be a day of sober reflection for the 9/11 victims was exploited by the so-called patriot for their own political gain. Why do they have to hold an event that was supposed to commemorate the victims and then charged for it. Oh I forgot, it was purely coincidental as always and her base bought into it.

If America wants a ding bat like Palin then go for it. In fact, why don't we make Paris Hilton her VP running mate and Lindsey Lohan Sec. of State since Americans are more interested in them than real issues. We can make Glen Beck the Whitehouse Press Sec.
