Democrats tout "major" announcement Wednesday

DNC Chairman Tim Kaine plans to make a 'major annoucement' on Wednesday.
DNC Chairman Tim Kaine plans to make a 'major annoucement' on Wednesday.

Washington (CNN) – Democratic National Committee Chairman Tim Kaine plans to make what's being billed as a major announcement Wednesday about the future of the party, according to a Democratic source with knowledge of the speech.

The source tells CNN that Kaine will announce something that will excite Democrats across the country. Kaine's event comes as Democrats face the difficult task of holding onto their majorities in the House and Senate this November.

The speech, scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at George Washington University, happens around the same time that Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele kicks of a major bus tour in support of Republicans running in the midterm elections. But the source says that the timing of Kaine event was in the works well before the date of Steele's kickoff was announced.

Unless he announces that Obama is stepping down... nothing will change for the better how Americans view this party!

And a big "hardy-har" for all the decrepit right wing "humorous" comments here. Here's my contribution.

Kane will announce that George W. Bush and Dick Cheney have been packed off to The Hague to face war crimes charges. That would certainly excite me!

  3. D0 Not Reply 2 this.

I guess if Palin and Beck can [TRY] to over-shadow MLKs' anniversary AND also 9/11, what's the big deal of Kaine over-shadowing little Steele. (We did not care for him in Maryland.) Anyways, he IS a puppet just like Bush was with Chaney and Howdy Doody too! One day someones mike will be left open and Steele will hear the truth! Just like the ONLY reason Palin was chose to >GAG< be VP was because she was a woman. (I was going to state "lady" but............................)

I am reading a lot of non sensical prattle written by a bunch of uniformed armchair quarterbacks. The politics in DC are as bad as the middle east conflicts. I do not envision anything different should the GOP retake the House. Maybe the Senate. Comprise may be effective, however; surrender never is.

It amazes me how stupid you people are. I make 6 figures but i dont consider myself wealthy. I also know that it is my responsibility to help others as somebody helped me get my start. I guarantee most of you fools dont make over 250,000 a year but hear you are criticizing the pres for trying to help you....go figure!! Sad part is most of you are racist and are so blinded by hate that you are willing to vote against your own interest. How soon you forget that it was Bush policies that got us into this mess and not Obama's. You want tax credits for the rich? Tell me how many jobs did it create over the past 8 years? ....4million jobs outsourced over seas and 750,000 jobs lost per month when Obama took office. The fact is folks had obama did nothing this economy would be in a depression and you stupid people would really have something to cry about

  11. 30-YR ARMY VETERAN FOR THE TRUTH!

The only thing he could say to excite this nation would be that OBAMA is leaving to join Bin Laden his boss and taking Pelosa, Reid, Biden, Clinton and Emanuel with him to be buried up to their heads then stoned to, "till something do we part." Call this a hateful Racist GOP. After 50 years of being a Democrat AND READING YOU IDIOTS COMMENTS ON ALL REPUBLICANS ARE RACIST you are right. I AM MADDER THAN HELL FOR ALL THE RIDICULE YOU OBAMANITES HAVE BESTOWED UPON ONE GREAT WOMAN, PALIN THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF THE U.S. OBAMA COULDN'T WEAR HER SANDELS WITHOUT STEPPING IN SOMETHING DISGUSTING. CHANGE, CHANGE, CHANGE. OH YEAH HE HAD THAT RIGHT. I HOPE THEY HAVEN'T CLOSED THE COTTON FIELDS. FOR HE WILL HAVE TO LOOK FOR A JOB COME 2012.

I got! He will say we're going to move further to the right to win the election, like Obama did. When it's over, we'll slide back to the left and resume our long term strategy towards european socialism.
