New look for the Democrats

mug.steinhauser

Washington (CNN) – The Democratic National Committee's up with a new website, which includes a new logo and slogan.

The DNC unveiled Democrats.Org Wednesday morning. The logo is a capitol D in light blue surrounded by a darker blue circle. The slogan is "CHANGE THAT MATTERS," which the party says highlights what they call their many accomplishments since President Barack Obama took over in the White House and Democrats expanded their majorities in Congress.

The site also includes an easier way for people to learn more about the Democratic lawmakers and candidates in their states and districts. DNC Chairman Tim Kaine is expected to give more details about the website when he speaks later Tuesday at an event at George Washington University in Washington.

The new website is part of a push by the party to try to help soften what could be blows to their majorities in the House and Senate in November's midterm elections.

There is nothing new about the Dummycrats. It's the same old liberal song and dance. November can't get here soon enough.

The "D" stands for DEBT, and the new slogan "Change That Matters" means more change to Socialism.

So if freedom and liberty matter to you, vote Republican on November 2nd.

Wow a website.... really? I might just have to forget about them cramming legislation through despite the majority of the country asking them not to. I may have to forget all they are doing to drive our deficit up... I mean a new website... that is a BIG deal.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAH

That is an insult to Democrats everywhere, "let's give them a new website.. they will get all glossy eyes and follow like moths to a flame"

    COME ON PEOPLE!

Accomplishments?!?! They passed lots of expensive legislation just when we couldn't afford it and then none of it has worked like it was supposed to.

You would expect the Democratic Party to downplay these last 2 years of failures.

Funny, the 34 democrats who voted against obama care over the objections of unions won re-election. They were threatened with withholding of funds and running liberals against them. All the running liberal candidates against the democrats lost and plenty of money was there for the democrats. These 34 democrats have learned that the American people come first and unions are dead last.

    Show us what's been done.
Why are Democrats hiding from their accomplishements?
The Question is are you better off now that you were in 2000? you know you're not and that was when Republicans took control of tall bracnhes.
The Question is the country in the same slide it was in 2008? Absolutely not- stopped are the banking free wheeling habits. Wall St now has regulation again. Healthcare is now in place after a 400% increase in the 8 years of Republican control.
VOTE FOR CONTINUED CHANGE- NOT FOR REVERTING BACK TO THE OLSDWAYS

Where do you and your elk get the nerve to think that this country is just for the Angry White Males and their 'God-Fearing' women? (As long as that God is Christian)
THANK A LOVING GOD that the crowd that LIED us into war they didn't pay for; WASTED a surplus left by a DEMOCRAT president, and DESTROYED our creditability abroad is FINALLY showing their true STUPIDITY and voting in IDIOTS that can't win in November.

"The people do not want to change to socialism"

Should those who are concerned about that happening decide to actually educate themselves about (a) what socialism actually is (b) what the Dems have actually done and enacted sinec Jan 2009 and (c) the policies, some of which are left over from the Bush administration, that the Obama administration has pursued...well, then they'd be happy to discover that not a single godd-mn thing that has occurred since Jan 2009 came even remotely close to constituting socialism, communism, marxism or any other "radical leftist agenda" boogeyman you can invent. Problem is, I just predicated rationality and progress on GOPers/Teatards/conservatives bothering to educate themselves....

If you as an American don't want to burn and crash it is in our best interest Internationaly to vote Republican or Democrat. If a Democrat can't win, for the first time in my life I would vote Republican but never in life would I cast a vote for the Tea Party.

Well , It took the Democrats not even 4 yrs , to mire this countrys Debt , far more than all the money in the World. And yet , they have not caught on , why people are becoming out raged at them. ( Is Ft. Knox next on there give away list )

They cut soc increases for 2 yrs, then in turn give themselves a raise in pay. Then a paid Vacation , an the disabled Vet is still trying to get treatment, An to make matters worse , they have to fly Bow , ( there pet ) in a special aircraft . This is your big Change

Thrn it keeps coming up that our so called President , has an illegal aunt , and she is drawng substies for her well neing. And to top it off he himself is as Illegal . Yet this is how the Jackasses work , turn there ass to everything. No substance .

"That is an insult to Democrats everywhere, "let's give them a new website.. they will get all glossy eyes and follow like moths to a flame""

Perhaps you should comment after going to the site and informing yourself as to what is there. Sure, CNN makes it sound trite, but it actually has a lot of information there about the candidates in each state, what their policy goals are, what they have voted for/against, what their recent activities have been, etc. No matter what party affiliation you claim (or don't claim as the case may be), it's a very useful tool for INFORMING yourself so you can make INFORMED decisions at the polls in November. Like anything, take it with a grain of salt and view it with a healthy skepticism because it is promotional and will involve "sellers talk," but there are barebones facts to be found there, which is a heck of a lot more than the GOP is offering...i.e., pure, unadulterated ideological demagoguery, misinformation campaigns and massive distraction attempts ("death panels" – need we say more?).

How is "Change that matters..." a good slogan? Getting going from being employed to unemployed is a change that matters. Going from healthy to sick is a "change that matters"...why is a change that matters something that I inherently want?

Those 34 democrats will still lose their seats when republicans get more votes in November. They voted for Pelosi as speaker, they voted for cap-and-trade, and they will probably vote for amnesty.
