Right wing rips Obama, GOP establishment

Washington (CNN) - Hotly energized social conservatives took aim at Washington's political establishment Friday, gathering to celebrate a string of GOP primary upsets this year and promising a revolution at the polls in November.

Speaker after speaker slammed the Obama administration for advancing what was characterized as a left-wing agenda threatening to undermine the country's economy, security and moral foundation.

The fifth annual Values Voters Summit, held in the nation's capitol, is a veritable "who's who" of rising Republican stars and possible 2012 presidential contenders: Sens. Jim DeMint of South Carolina and Jim Inhofe of Oklahoma, Gov. Bob McDonnell of Virginia, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana, Rep. Michele Bachmann of Minnesota and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, among others.

Also scheduled to appear at the two-day gathering is the right's newest celebrity, surprise Delaware GOP Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell.

  1. Thank God I am a Democrat

I love when REPUBS come on these boards and complain that all Obama does is point fingers and blame. Then an article like this comes and they have nothing to say. Fact is both sides do it so please spare us your attempt to talk junk about Obama in any way you can.

And you have to see Romney comments. I am not sure where he gets off with the stuff he says. The healthcare reform is nothing more than the bill he passed in Mass. I love how he pretends to not remember this. If George would have tried to pass it he never would have complained about it be rammed down our thoats. He would have took credit for the blueprint.

Mittens Romney is the most hypocritical, lying, sack of human waste on the planet...ok, that is not entirely true. He is tied with numerous other lying sacks of human waste that stench up the GOP/Tea Party/Theocons!
Back to my original point...this particular lying sack of human waste had the audacity to rattle on about "Obamacare." Earth to Mittens..hello?! Did you not implement that same plan for the citizens of Mass.?! Did you NOT provide many of the same ideas/provisions that our watered down version contains?! Sheez! The endless lying among the Republicants knows no shame! Doesn't the Bible and Ten Commandments address lying?!

I don't know which is worse: Obama's socialism or the American Taliban's religious fascism. Both are ruinous.

When they talk about not voting for the least favorite what about when you have no choices to make? Isn't that as anti-American as it gets? One thing for sure, in Georgia we don't get options for most areas. It's the same old people (incumbents!). I guess it's perfectly alright if they carry an 'R' behind their name. I personally would prefer options but you are guaranteed not to get any if you live in Georgia!

Why spend money on the poor or middle class, when you can spend money lining the pockets of your friends in the military and big government contracts for war?

What is the current US deficit? How much was spent on the war?

    Think there is a correlation?

It's been said that a democracy cannot exist without an educated electorate, and the proof is in what's happening to our country now.

The Values Voters Summit is a hate-fest, populated by the ignorant, directed against the principles that this country was founded upon and progressively developed over that last 200 years, such as separation of church and state, equal rights, tolerance, and promoting the general welfare of its citizens.

Sure, they have a right to spew their hate, and I have a right to point out the anti-American nature of what they espouse.
