Watchdog group: Delaware candidate's spending 'flat-out illegal'

(CNN) - A watchdog group says it plans to ask authorities in Delaware to investigate Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell's finances.

At issue are more than $20,000 of spending in 2009 and 2010 that Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington claims was illegal.

"It turns out Miss O'Donnell has treated her campaign funds like they are her very own personal piggy bank. She's used that money to pay for things like her rent, for gas, meals and even a bowling outing. And that's just flat-out illegal," said Melanie Sloan, the group's executive director.

Please! This is cracking me up. I can hardly wait to watch Stewart and Colbert. My hat's off to all you "witch hunt" theorists! It"s not to hard to dig up dirt on someone when they just scoop it out onto the sidewalk for everyone to see. Are they saying she was too stupid to know it was wrong? Sounds like a Palin protoge' to me! Meanwhile, the TP'ers are still searching for that illusive "birth certificate", aren't you? DARN! I love it. Bring back ethics to Washington? I think not. At least the poor guy they jumped over to get to O'Donnel could read and understand the rules – and those stupid little documents we call "laws.". I know! Maybe the Republicans can get a "do-over in Delaware!" That's in the rules, isn't it?

Bill Maher showed a clip of Christine O'Donnell saying she dabbled in witchcraft and is a witch. Huffingtonpost has it up. Sarah Palin used to mess around with a witch doctor too.

What do you expect from someone who has the brains of a 12 year old ?
When they told her she had " x number " of dollar's in her campaign fund she just figured she could do anything with it that she wanted to. She has no education and her idols come from talk radio and people like Sarah Palin. At least Sarah went to college, in fact, she went to 4 of them. Not really sure if she ever graduated though as everything out of her mouth is either a lie or an illusion.

More and more, it appears that dishonest people are running for important government positions. I guess that should not surprise us.

That's ok, conservatives don't care if she's a thief, as long as she believes in god, she's ok with them. Her own mother wouldn't help her without being paid, lol, that says a lot about her. Come on, guys, stop being such hypocrites!

(sung to the tune of "Old MacDonald Had a Farm"

    Christine O'Donnell has a farm, e-i-e-i-o,
And on this farm she had a nut, e-i-e-i-o,
    There's a nut-nut here, a nut-nut there, here a nut, there a nut, and every where a nut-nut,
    Christine O'Donnell has a farm, a nut farm e-i-o.

but her new fans cry out "SHE'S JUST LIKE US!!" so it's alright to do such things. Alright to do it if you're a Republican that is. Maybe Sarah Palin can help her out of debt I hear she's got some big bucks coming in now.

O'Donnell is further proof that "fiscal responsibility" and "personal responsibility" are just meaningless words the GOBPbaggers repeat to lull gullible voters to sleep. Of course they don't mean it because they're a bunch of HYPOCRITES! If they really stood for the average American, they wouldn't be taking millions of dollars from ultrawealthy billionaires like the Koch brothers, and they wouldn't be coordinating with Dick "Never Met a Rich Person I Wouldn't Suck Up To" Armey. And if they really cared about Main St. instead of Wall St., these nutjobs would come to their senses and support Elizabeth Warren, who fights for the poor and middle class. Why do the teatards hate America?

Why am I not surprise that the right on this blog are responding to what Obama and Clinton did or did not do. Lets not bog things down by addressing this illegal activity by the dim-wit named Christine O'Donnell.
Hopefully, this lady can be placed under the microscope enough for the Delaware electorate to see what she really is.

Yeah these soros lib-bots really know about ethics, they take issue with O'Donnel but their O'puppet in the white house receiving donations from Saudis named Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck was perfectly ethical.

It's pretty petty to talk about how this is "probably" a liberal conspiracy or that they should be looking at Clinton or Obama. Get over yourselves!

If O'Donnell is breaking the law, then she needs to be prosecuted. If not, then let her be. I'm surprised how some folks are blindly for her, but that's their choice.

If Clinton or Obama broke it and there is proof, then do an investigation and prosecute if needed.

People flinging crap around trying to make it stick is trolling and makes them look stupid.

If the accusations are false, then the issue will go away if O'Donnell just rides it out. It may be just gutter politics as usual. On the other hand, she could follow her hero's lead and just quit.

Another tea party/conservative party member who isn't smart enough to walk and chew gum at the same time. It would be funny to see a debate between her and Palin.

I am thrilled that she won the Republican nomination. It means that one more Democrat will keep his seat. It also means that maybe the real Republicans, the ones who aren't whackos, may realize that they need to take their party back so that we can have real choices on election day.

Typical story – weak mided person finds way to make money off other weak minded people who idolize their raunchy negativity.

Then they quickly put up the I'm the vicitim defense – and whine and cry about how unfair everybody is when the find out about how weird or questionable their past really is.
While Koch Bros. and Murdoch send them money through their front groups – Freedom Works, Family First, "I got mine, screw you" organizations.

If the allegations prove to be true, she should be called to account for it. She may be no better than other candidates that got caught. In either case, she should be investigated and the results made known prior to any election.
