Dems launch first ad targeting O'Donnell

The DSCC is up with its first ad targeting O’Donnell.
The DSCC is up with its first ad targeting O’Donnell.

(CNN) – While it remains unclear if national Republicans will run ads in Delaware supporting Christine O’Donnell, Democrats are already up with a spot attacking the surprise Senate nominee.

In the ad that launched Sunday, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee takes aim at questions surrounding O’Donnell’s financial history.

Full script after the jump:

We don’t know a lot about Christine O’Donnell. But here’s what we do know.

She’ll fit right in, in Washington.

O’Donnell spends money she doesn’t have. Hired employees she didn’t pay. Stiffed businesses. Didn’t pay her taxes.

One of Christine O’Donnell’s former employees summed it up: “We were constantly trying to hold her back from spending. She was financially completely irresponsible.”

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is responsible for the content of this advertising.

    O'Donnell, the new Palin.
Obsession of the left with right wing woman who dare!
Even more though, she is a regular person, not the ruling elite (which makes both partis' establishments uneasy.. good regardless of many side issues!)

She didn't dabble in witchcraft when she was 30 - from her description of a little blood and a altar, she was into satanism.

Geeeeez. Family values of the republians. Maybe Satan takes care of her "personally".

I'd like to know if she sacrificed any defenseless animals during her Satanist tenure. The billionaire Koch brothers are off of their rocker funding this loony woman, even more than their funding of the Tea Party, Palin, Gingrich, and DeMint.

She wants the gov't to tell us what we can and cannot do BY OURSELVES in our own homes.

Yep, Delaware - or is that South Carolina Annexed?

The people who worked for her say she didn't pay them. Wouldn't they know whether they got paid? They are Republicans and they were saying this during the primary, but no one listened. She owes back taxes. She has not held a job, because she doesn't want to work. She wants to run for office over and over again. She used campaign money to live from day to day. The Democrat running against her has held a job for all those years. Now Bill Mayer is going to tell us all these weird things she said when she was thirty years old. I remember being thirty. I knew better than to say weird things on tape. No judgment.

  10. The reality is...

Democrats and the Republican insiders will do anything they can to take down this woman from the gossip about her dabbling in witchcraft to her supposed financial problems.
But it's okay for Rangel to dabble in illegal activity, Bill Clinton to dabble in sexual affairs with Lewinski, Hillary to dabble in lying about her excursion in Bosnia, Obama to dabble in drugs....need I say more? I could but with these reminders alone the hypocrisy is quite evident.

Just curious – does this Democratic Party attack ad tell that the Democratic Senatoral candidate is an admitted Marxist? His words – not mine.

It is fascinating how far this wacko has climbed in the politics of America. Especially when you consider the information about her that is easily accessible on the internet. She is anti-gay, anti-abortion; even if it is rape or incest, she has been sued by her former College, the bank was trying to foreclose on her home and the IRS has been after her for unpaid taxes. She lied about having a College degree, she lied about attending Princeton University and she dabbled in witchcraft. She was the founder of SALT that tried to tell teens not to have sex by themselves or before marriage yet she sold her home to her boyfriend to prevent foreclosure. Are we to beleive that she is a 41 year old single female with no children who convinced a boyfriend to buy her house and then denies him sex because they aren't married? Has she changed her mind on the sex before marriage thing? This person is on a ballot to belong to the US Senate? All this because the "T Party "doesn't like having a black president?

I wonder if she had to cancel her talk show appearances today since it was her turn to go gather up the stray cats and dogs in the neighbor for the Satanic sacrifice tonight. Also, who is her coven worshipping and making sacrifices to.....Satan....or something worse....Sarah Palin????

Interesting to note: O’Donnell said in 1998 that wives should “graciously submit” to their husbands.

But in her 2005 suit against her employer – she charged that she suffered “mental anguish” after being demoted and fired because the institute’s conservative philosophy deemed that women must be subordinate!

    Now which is it, honey?

I hope they really demean and degrade her and her family like the liberals do Palin. Americans are so sick of that it will turn on them and she will be elected. Hopefully they will call anyone who votes for her a neanderthal, unamerican or racist. That will help, it is in the rest of the country.

Odonnell should fit right in with the rest of the G NO NO PARTY. Can you imagine that cutie surrounded by the impotent dummies from the Bible belt states. Palin will take over the GOP NO NO'S by election time.

The democrats don't seem to be the party of tolerance.

Truth is that she is as qualified as their candidate.... but a whole lot more honest about her personal views.

And why is the media taking sides? This story is a non-story.

If you don't believe the Dems, read O'Donnells personal biography, it's a train wreck. Who wants to ride a train that has a conductor with a history of train wrecks.

Is Christine so power-hungry that she admittedly, "dabbled in witchcraft?" Nobody in their right mind would submit to the forces of the Underworld for personal profit. She is truly insane, in my learned opinion.

She was a theatre major in college. She just declared that the USA is a socialist state. If that were the case, we'd all have free education, free healthcare and there would be no millionaires in this country. Please, if she could go back to college and major in history and political science, she MIGHT be qualified to run for office.

She's also lived on her campaign contributions for several years without running for office. Do we really need a Sarah Palin clone? The worse thing McCain ever did for this country is introduce Sarah Palin to US politics. I sure wouldn't want her answering that 3 am emergency call in the White House! I can hear it now, 'come over for coffee tomorrow and we'll talk about it then [while the world is blowing up].

As a moderate, I want nothing to do with the Tea Party GOP. They are wayyyyy. to far right for me and their are a lot of us out there that feel the same. I thought that Newt and that crowd of conservatives was too conservative , Terry Shivo, but these tea baggers want to elimanate social security, medicare, fema, the education department, plus shut down the government and impeach Pres. Obama. We don't need their kind of leadership.

o'donnell addressed the witchcraft comment. And, she still lying. She said she was a teenager. In the 90's she was no teenager. What a coward, she canceled out on the Sunday news programs. She must be taking advice from EX-govenor palin. I guess you'll have to follow her tweets.
