(CNN) - President Obama urged Congressional Black Caucus members to help rally their constituents and remind them that more work must be done to move the country forward.

The nation's first black president addressed the group at its annual awards gala on Saturday night. He touched on race issues and his win to office, saying it "wasn't just about electing a black president."

"It was about giving every hardworking American a chance to join a growing middle class," he said. "It was about putting the American dream within reach for all Americans, no matter who you are, what you look like, or where you come from."

...who you are, what you look like, where you come from or how qualified you are for the job! Even a Junior Senator with NO management experience can be put in charge of the United States Federal Government. That explains so much in retrospect.

This is typical Obama "divide and conquer" tactics. What scares me more is giving the vote to individuals who are ignorant and believe what Obama preaches. Collectively, it spells disaster!

"It was about taking from the middle class and giving to the people who don't want to work. After all 95% of black people voted for color."

92% voted for Clinton and 95% voted for Kerry.

More of that Hope and Change. Using class warfare and appealing to racism to win an election. His binkyprompter was working overtime on this divisive speech. Only one more week left of the "summer of prosperity." What is next for the most corrupt, incompetent, inept, union toady president this country has ever had.
