Paladino wields brashness, baggage in New York bid

(CNN) - Carl Paladino is a lot of things - a multimillionaire businessman, lawyer, family man, devout Catholic and a blunt guy.

And on Tuesday, he became the New York state Republican Party's gubernatorial candidate, stunning the party establishment by beating their candidate, Rick Lazio.

But there is one facet of his life that comes out loud and clear when it comes to politics: his hometown of Buffalo, New York.

New Yorkers have been know to be brash, and we accept that. Paladino is a complete slime ball. He is anti government, yet he accepts those rent checks from the state of New York. He forwards porn and racist e-mails which tell of his lack of character. His plans to address the problems created by the republicans, are something out of a third world country.

He is totally wrong for New York and a total waste time. He only won because more people hated Lazio.

Message to Cuomo – Don't give him an inch. Get out meet with the people both downstate and upstate.

I am a Catholic – and if this jerk is a devout Catholic he is missing something in the Catechism – like – truth, kindness, compassion, humility truth. No respectable devout Catholic talks the way this jerk does with total disregard for the sanctity of his fellow human beings. Go to confession Sir and come out with a better attitude

Today the "summer of prosperity" is officially over. Judging by the way our incompetent, inept, corrupt POTUS has been talking lately, I do believe he may declare this the "fall of fallacy" or the "autumn of arrogance." Liberals, like their communist heros have got to have catchy names for their thieving programs and agendas.

Oh great, now my only choice is to vote for a "lunatic"? Well, I guess it would be better than voting for Cuomo.

I agree with Paladino on most topics and his ideas with one exception. Leave the social conservative baggage behind. We don't have time to waste on that crap. Cut the state costs, cut government spending, cut the size of goverenment. No more entitlements. No more social conservative BS.

This guy is a total sleeze bucket. He's a pervert, and racist. I guess this means the Rethuglicans will love him and vote for him. He's definetly one of them.

I love how all these libs and dems call anyone who speaks the truth about their corrupt government nuts. Our country is in this mess because of people who think the status quo is okay. Please, wake up people and stop looking for the same old, same old. This guy is far from a nut and speaks truth and is different, something that has been missing from this country for a very long time and half of the population is okay with it.
