Palin: Tea Party is 'the future of politics'

Sarah Palin released a new web video on Tuesday.
Sarah Palin released a new web video on Tuesday.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin has struck a campaign chord again, so to speak, with a new web video replete with sweeping images of Tea Party rallies and orchestral music usually reserved in politics for the glowing profile ads candidates use to kick off their campaigns.

The 80-second video, entitled "Tea Party," primarily features clips of Palin's speech in March to Tea Party rally-goers in Searchlight, Nevada.

"This party that we call the Tea Party is the future of politics," Palin proclaims as the video concludes.

The web video highlights Palin's continuing efforts to establish herself as a leader of the conservative movement. It comes one week after Christine O'Donnell, the Tea Party-endorsed, Palin-backed candidate in Delaware's GOP Senate primary, secured a major upset victory over Rep. Mike Castle, the party-backed establishment politician. No politicians–other than Palin–appear in the video.

"It is just so inspiring to real people-not politicos, not inside the beltway professionals-come out and stand up and speak out for common sense conservative principles," Palin says.

Palin tweeted about the video in similar fashion to her first campaign-style video, released in June: "Enjoy the video! And please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you, and for you…"

The video Palin released in June celebrated women in the conservative movement and touted her support for "Mama Grizzlies," a term she coined for female politicians who exhibit toughness and stand firm for conservative values.

  1. The Beatification of Mediocrity

If the tea baggers are the future of politics then we are doomed to be a self-involved nation of spoiled, stupid children.

There are approximately 40 million functionally illiterate people in the United States. I am comforted in knowing that it will take more votes than that for her to be elected President.

This woman will say and do anything to keep her face in the spotlight. If O'Donnell does not go to jail for her illegal use of campaing funds, and she happens to stay in the spot light (she will NEVER

These are a bunch of fools backed with corporate money, that's all.
They're small and load, but forgettable after this election.

You haven't won any thing yet. I think you will find in November that voters are in fact commonsense, except that tea party sense is not as common as your ego would lead you to believe. So do us a favor this time, if and when you loose, please go away.

  7. Really Now . . .

This woman will say and do anything to keep her face in the spotlight. If O'Donnell does not go to jail for her illegal use of campaing funds, and she happens to stay in the spot light (she will NEVER get elected), wait for the claws to come out between these two. They are made of the same cloth. Sarah may have created a monster she can't deal with. O'Donnell is unstable and Sarah is evil. It should be interesting.

Wasn't there something brought up iin 2008 about Palin and witchcraft in her past?

It will be fun to watch these two media-whores fight it out for the spotlight. Enjoy it while you can ladies. Next stop – National Enquirer, which is where you both belong.

Poor Jimmy. He's been the favorite puppet propaganda tool of the world's worst terrorists and dictators for nearly 30 years now, and he's still too dense to realize he's been manipulated and played into debasing the office of the Presidency for years now.

    Sad. Really sad.

But nothing compared to the damage Obama will do with his massive ego once he's finally out of office in 2012.

The ability of America to solve its' many problems is in danger. But don't worry, only the "little" people will be hurt. The "Big Boys" always figure a way to get "THEIR"S".

Just more nonsense from the Wasilla Wackjob, who couldn't even finish one term as a failed governor.

HAVING ABSOLUTELY NO CREDIBILITY MUST BE TERRIBLE FOR HER. It does, however, give her something in common with Glen "alligator tears" Beck and Rush "Dumbo" Limboob.

The only way to show Palin and tea party how inconsequental they are is for the Democrats to turn out in numbers to vote.
Talk to everyone you know, letting them know how important it is to vote against these irresponsible incompetents.

So the Bigot Buffet is out again with their leader the Welfare Queen.

Please God don't let these evil people ANYWHERE near the White house. Sometimes it's giving God the worse to say he created these people – but maybe just maybe – people such as these remind people such as I to get out and vote. This country will never be the same if these people are given the chance and opportunity to rule. Please God put a stop to this.

The so called Tea Party is not the future of this country. If it is, the country will have no future. I see very few intelligent, circumspect, thoughtful, responsible speakers in this movement, and the rabble that they rouse with their "patriotism" would deny the rest of us a say in how we wish to see the future unfold. Sorry, folks, but my dad and uncles did not fight and give their lives so that you wouldn't have to use your brains.

Having heard this woman speak I must confess I cannot understand what she is trying to say.
She cannot put a single thought together and express it coherently.
It appears that governing Alaska was tough for her – and that is with a healthy Federal subsidy (they get a lot more back from DC than they send to DC.) and lots of money from oil. How would she ever hope to govern this country?
"Drill baby drill" is not an energy policy any more than "bring it on" is an effective anti terror / military strategy.
