Palin: Tea Party is 'the future of politics'

Sarah Palin released a new web video on Tuesday.
Sarah Palin released a new web video on Tuesday.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin has struck a campaign chord again, so to speak, with a new web video replete with sweeping images of Tea Party rallies and orchestral music usually reserved in politics for the glowing profile ads candidates use to kick off their campaigns.

The 80-second video, entitled "Tea Party," primarily features clips of Palin's speech in March to Tea Party rally-goers in Searchlight, Nevada.

"This party that we call the Tea Party is the future of politics," Palin proclaims as the video concludes.

The web video highlights Palin's continuing efforts to establish herself as a leader of the conservative movement. It comes one week after Christine O'Donnell, the Tea Party-endorsed, Palin-backed candidate in Delaware's GOP Senate primary, secured a major upset victory over Rep. Mike Castle, the party-backed establishment politician. No politicians–other than Palin–appear in the video.

"It is just so inspiring to real people-not politicos, not inside the beltway professionals-come out and stand up and speak out for common sense conservative principles," Palin says.

Palin tweeted about the video in similar fashion to her first campaign-style video, released in June: "Enjoy the video! And please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you, and for you…"

The video Palin released in June celebrated women in the conservative movement and touted her support for "Mama Grizzlies," a term she coined for female politicians who exhibit toughness and stand firm for conservative values.

Sarah Palin, your ignorance never ceases to amaze me. If you think any sane American voter will endorse this "klan party", you are more delusional than I thought. Admit you are in this for the money and that you love being in the spotlight. Knowledge, you have none. To them, you may be everything, but to me, you are nothing but a hateful, mean, divisive, bogoted little 'itch.

Without a doubt... because it's not about parties, as we tea partiers hate the GOP MORE THAN we hate the national social dems.

It's a philosophical movement that is actually much bigger than either of the stupid self-interested political parties.

It's about stuffing the government back into it's original tiny pint-sized constitutional can where the founders intended it to reside, and trimming off anything that hangs off the sides after the lid goes back on.

Anything that doesn't fit into the can was never intended by the founders. Lob it off.

The generic polling shows Democrats are showing strength. People are starting to use their common sense. The Tea Party is a extreme group with draciaon ideas for a 21 centry America. You can't run a country on just anger and slogan.

She happens to be right on this one, there is enough of us now already and the numbers will grow. Both parties have let us down. True conservatism is the only thing that will save our country at this point. No more free money and people have children just to get more money from the Government.
Do away with welfare and you will solve several problems all at one.

    1) Crime will down, once people learn to work for their own and take pride in what they have.

    2) Unemployment will go down and put people to work making their own way and learning to be productive and have pride.

    3) Illegal immigration will come down, without the free hand outs and will less jobs for them to have as our people are doing the jobs once deemed "beneath them"

A short term helping hand is fine however it needs to be short term and then help you find work and get you off of the government support.

Sara Palin is campaigning on the backs of the Tea Baggers and she is making sure she is the GOP Presidental Nominee and she is doing a good job at it. HELL TO THE GOP their whole party have been taking over by the new members of the KKKK without the hood. This maybe good for the GOP in the short term, but in 2012 it is going to bite them in the AZZ. It will be the major of American voters against the Tea Bagger aka KKK without the hood in 2012. They want to take this county back to the good old days of the KKK movement where WHITES ONLY RULED! The problem with this movement is this country have too many people of color that will give the new KKKK with the hoods HELL!

I apologize for so many silly wording mistakes there... I am sick with a cold and sorta got a bit jumbled. I think you see my meaning though.

So if we believe Caribou Barbie, this is the future of politics:

    - astroturf organizing (FreedomWorks, etc) masquerading as "just plain folks"

    - nonsensical belief systems ("keep the government out of my Medicare")

    - threats of violence ("2nd Amendment remedies", Palin's own advertising materials with "crosshairs")

    - labeling anyone who disagrees a "domestic enemy"

    - outright propaganda organizations pretending to be "journalists" (Fox News)

    - deliberately demonizing minority groups and embracing outright fascism (Geert Wilders at the 9/11 rally anyone?)

Sounds like a great little Nazi party she's got set up.

The tea party is not the future of politics. Just like republican McCarthyism, it will run its course when someone explains to the white haired baggers that social security and medicare are social programs, that President Obama actually decreased their taxes, that the size of government has decreased under President Obama, and that the deficit in President Obama's first fiscal year is down 8% from Bush's last fiscal year.

Oh good. The future of politics is a bunch of extremist, self-serving, uncompromising, non-pragamtic narcissists. We will live in a country where there will be no choice. We pray a certain way, we cannot have abortions, we take care of no one but ourselves, we watch only certain types of movies, and all the hospitals, roads, bridges etc get built by the private sector and we get charged handsomely to use them. And everyone–everyone is packing a gun(s). Is this a dystopian future for America?

Wow, the tea party is the politics of the future? Lies, contradictions, embezzling campaign funds, greed, selfishness and vicious attacks and smears on those who won't agree with their simple and narrow mindedness? I guess she doesn't care what she hangs her hat on as long as it makes her money and provides her with a celebrity status.
