Palin: Tea Party is 'the future of politics'

Sarah Palin released a new web video on Tuesday.
Sarah Palin released a new web video on Tuesday.

(CNN) - Sarah Palin has struck a campaign chord again, so to speak, with a new web video replete with sweeping images of Tea Party rallies and orchestral music usually reserved in politics for the glowing profile ads candidates use to kick off their campaigns.

The 80-second video, entitled "Tea Party," primarily features clips of Palin's speech in March to Tea Party rally-goers in Searchlight, Nevada.

"This party that we call the Tea Party is the future of politics," Palin proclaims as the video concludes.

The web video highlights Palin's continuing efforts to establish herself as a leader of the conservative movement. It comes one week after Christine O'Donnell, the Tea Party-endorsed, Palin-backed candidate in Delaware's GOP Senate primary, secured a major upset victory over Rep. Mike Castle, the party-backed establishment politician. No politicians–other than Palin–appear in the video.

"It is just so inspiring to real people-not politicos, not inside the beltway professionals-come out and stand up and speak out for common sense conservative principles," Palin says.

Palin tweeted about the video in similar fashion to her first campaign-style video, released in June: "Enjoy the video! And please support commonsense conservative candidates who will work with you, and for you…"

The video Palin released in June celebrated women in the conservative movement and touted her support for "Mama Grizzlies," a term she coined for female politicians who exhibit toughness and stand firm for conservative values.

Let's hope that the angry, ignorant, and completely unrealistic Tea Party is not the future of our country or we are in real trouble. With people like the perpetually ignorant and idea-less Palin as well as Rand Paul who would like to undo civil rights legislation, Angle who would like to get rid of Social Security and Medicare as well as have armed uprisings when her preferred candidate does not win our democratic elections, and O'Donnell who has illegally used her campaign money to live off of since she hasn't had a job in so long and who "wasn't sure" if it would have been OK to lie to Hitler to save Jews, the Tea Party has been scraping the bottom of the barrel for candidates. Our country can do much better than the ignorance, bigotry, and lack of solutions that the Tea Party serves up.

Not until both parties realize that the country, as a whole, is still suffering due in no small part to Dubya's policies, and that the needs of he many outweigh the needs of the few, will politics become relevant again. It's time to stop the madness – eliminate all loopholes in the tax code; stop policies that let the rich get richer on the suffering of the poor and ever-disappearing middle class; eliminate the handouts to Big Oil and Corporate Farming; stabilize the tax code so that all income over the poverty level is taxed fairly. I'm not against paying my fair share but it irkes me no end to pay a larger percentage than those that can afford the quirks and lawyers ...

What is wrong with the american people that they want this bunch of racits to run our country. And have the american people gone completly out of their minds wanting the republicans to run the country again. I guess the blame starts with Palin. What did the american people do wrong that they are getting punished by having Palin around.

If the Tea Partiers are the "future" of politics in this country, we are in for a bleak future.

Fiscal responsibility? Ok. I can get with that. But this "party" of "fiscal responsibility" is being infiltrated with kookmeisters like O'Donnell and Angle, to say nothing of Palin, who want YOU to adhere to their brand of Christian fanaticism, like it or not. It is their goal, as they increase in number and power, to make conservative hard-right Christian "values" the law in this country. You don't want Muslim Sharia Law? Neither do I. But neither do I want to live in a country where Biblical Law holds sway instead of common sense.

Boy if CNN couldn't glorify this absolute POS that is running around the country collecting money for herself, they wouldn't have a website now would they. She must be paying some body to keep her in the news. Because her statements and actions lead more to a bunch of crap than news.

"This party that we call the Tea Party is the future of politics," Palin proclaims as the video concludes.

And now Christine O'Donnell will lead us in Satanic prayer from the necronomicon. "Lord Satan please make sure that we are always the people with money and that no one else has a chance. In other words please renew our frivolous tax cuts."

"Good job momma grizzly, Palin out!"

Sarah Palin is showing Washington politicians what a real leader looks like. She is making a lot of good things happen within her own framework...on her schedule and firmly in her control. Things around her ( like for instance, the November elections ) are falling into place because of the strong base of support she is building. This is what leadership looks like and how it works. You won't find people this enthusiastic in support of Obama, Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi.
