Borger: Dems, GOP need a better bumper sticker

Editor's note: Gloria Borger is a senior political analyst for CNN, appearing regularly on CNN's "The Situation Room," "AC360°," "John King, USA" and "State of the Union."

Washington (CNN) - It is the fall of the Democrats' discontent or, more accurately, the voters' discontent.

They're anxious, they're angry and, as one Obama defender put it directly to the man himself this week, they're exhausted - both from defending him and keeping track of all that he has done. In other words: It's too much, too fast, with not much to show for it.

Sure, it's hard for a president who considers himself transformational to admit he needs to play some retail politics. After all, there are election cycles other than his own.

Since day one, Obama and the Democrats have been pushing a Socialist agenda that goes against everything America stands for, I've got a bumper sticker for you:

    Vote American, vote Republican.

Trying to defend the indefensible has got to be tought. For a brief time around the inauguration I to supported this inept, incompetent, union toady. He soon lost me though with his arrogance and stupidity and I found myself being demeand and degraded by his supporters, which then made me angry.

Most of what has been done is being fazed in. I think the amount of "disinformation" is just astounding.

Corker (R TN) was booed at the GM Plant in TN. (old Saturn Plant) But he proudly took credit for the new employment, building engines, when he voted against it. He wanted wages cut. He voted against the loan to GM. This plant would have been permanently closed, as well as many others That loan, saved hundreds of thousands of jobs, not only at GM but all suppliers. But there he was, saying, it was what I helped do in Congress that made these jobs happen. What help?

Now, tea party candidates love to talk social issue GOP doesn’t want to talk

Between Tea party and GOP we see few band aids now but by nov2nd we will see more band aid between them

If tea party candidates win election Tug of war will start in republican caucus

This is ridiculous. If people are voting because of a slogan, then they deserve what they get.

The GOP is hopeful that with the new healthcare bill, we can now get fully functional mouse brains for all humans. This would greatly expand the number of people in favor of their agenda.
