(CNN) – Keeping to his promise that he would release a controversial video clip of Delaware GOP Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell every week until she appears on his television show, liberal comedian Bill Maher unveiled another clip of the Tea Party favorite on Friday.
In the latest clip, culled from a 1998 episode of Maher’s old show “Politically Incorrect,” O’Donnell is shown vehemently asserting that “evolution is a myth.”

A stupefied Maher asks, “Have you ever looked at a monkey?” to which O’Donnell replies, “Well then...why aren’t monkeys still evolving into humans?”
Maher aired the clip on his current HBO show, "Real Time with Bill Maher."
The latest clip comes days after video of O’Donnell surfaced showing the candidate in 2003 claiming its possible to stop Americans from having sex.
And last week, Maher released a clip that featured O’Donnell in 1999 saying that in high school she “dabbled into witchcraft.”
O’Donnell’s campaign has dismissed the previous clips as distractions.
According to a CNN/Time/Opinion Research Corporation poll released Wednesday, Democratic Senate nominee Chris Coons holds a 16 percentage point lead over O’Donnell among likely voters, 55 percent to 39 percent. Among the wider pool of registered voters, Coons leads O'Donnell by 25 points.

Though evolution is not a myth – Darwin called it a theory. Old, disproven by 20th century molecular science and lots of dirt digging that completely disproved it, but theory nevertheless.

Whether politicians believe in the theory of evolution (like Einstein's theory of relativity, the atomic theory, the theory of plate tectonics) is an indicator of how educated they are. What if they thought the world was flat? Don't you want the smartest, most level-headed, critical thinkers to also be your leaders and decision-makers?

Evolution is a fact. Anybody who thinks otherwise isn't fit to be involved in society. They need to be isolated, and studied. Haha, someone who thinks evolution is a myth is fit to make decisions for Americans in 2010?

Well I think Evolution is a myth. Don't see anything wrong with that. Was expecting a shocker.. This wasn't as bad as the satanic worship. It's like the millions of years old thing. some believe it some don't. I don't. I take it on Faith the earth is less than 20,000 yrs old. Hope Bill has better ones than this. What Bill Mahr is doing is coming dangerously close to blackmail. Come on his show (so he can make money) or else he will do something that might negatively affect her campaign. Just because it's done in the open doesn't make it OK. Can't he get guests the normal way without threatening them? I think the people in her state will make up their own minds and vote for her or not vote for her... Bill Mahr doesn't live there, so he's only in this for the money.

I believe in evolution and God. And I believe that the Tea Party crowd is not as evolved as the rest of the country. Just think about the complexities of today's world and the solutions the Tea Party is offering and ask yourself, do we really want them in charge of the asylum?
This O'Donnell is one big nut case,and so are most of the rest the TEA PARTY back. I sure hope the people of the state these nut cases are in are smart enough not too vote these people in office.

As to Christian = no belief in Evolution...Wrong. The Vatican totally supports the science behind the proof of Evolution. It supports it as fact plain and simple. This woman does not understand what evolution means or how it works. This is clear from her response.
