(CNN) - Mitt Romney continued his string of endorsements ahead of the midterm elections Tuesday, throwing his support behind a crop of Maryland Republicans.
The likely 2012 presidential candidate announced his backing of GOP gubernatorial nominee Bob Ehrlich, Rep. Roscoe Bartlett, and congressional candidates Andy Harris and Charles Lollar. Romney's Free and Strong America PAC will transfer $10,000 to Ehrlich's campaign, and $2,500 to the congressional campaigns.
The endorsements are part of Romney's effort to expand his influence in the GOP ahead of his likely presidential bid. The former Massachusetts governor has made similar endorsements in more than 30 states and pledged to visit 25 states before Election Day.
