(CNN) – The big question surrounding Sarah Palin's appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" has been answered.
The former Alaska governor was in fact not booed on the ABC program.
Following a string of media reports questioning whether the studio audience gave Palin a frosty welcome when she was introduced, ABC released raw footage showing the boos were in fact directed toward judges who had - moments earlier - given contestants Derek Hough and Jennifer Grey an "8" for what the crowd believed was a better performance.
The speculation was spawned when, during the show's original airing, off-camera boos were clearly audible immediately before host Tom Bergeron began his interview with Palin. The former GOP vice presidential nominee was in the crowd to watch daughter Bristol compete.
"There's booing in the ballroom. We don't know why," Burke said then. Grey then asked, "Why is there booing?" before the camera cut to Palin and Bergeron.
Bergeron himself told ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Monday the boos were prompted by scores for Grey's performance and not Palin's presence. "They felt that Jennifer got screwed, that she should've gotten nines," he explained.

Gee. I abstained from commenting yesterday on this most important of news stories because I did not watch the show. However I do wish you prominent "news" agencies would get your stories straight as I read in the Washington Post that SHE DID IN FACT GET BOOED.
I should be BOOED for even commenting on this incredibly critically important news item.

CNN, as a professional organization, why then did you post an article yesterday claiming Palin was boo'ed before you had all of the information? Doesn't this constitute irresponsible reporting on your part? Or...was it a good excuse as a liberal organization to bash Palin some more? Personally, I believe both to be true. CNN is no better than MSNBC...just a bunch of dishonest, irresponsible liars whose mission has changed from reporting the news to distorting the truth.
I wish you could have let this story go away CNN. I am afraid it wake ups those who did not have in mind of booing her, to do so from now onwards! It falls under "freedom of speech"!
I don't believe that,Sarah Palin is the one got booed from the audience.
Just because Sarah Pay-off has lied about the Pres consorting with terrorists,lied about death panels on the health care bill, lied about the ruined economy not being Bushs fault, lied about Spill Baby Spill, lied about our reasons for invading Iraq, lied about global warming, lied about the competency of the candidates she endorses, lied about her own competency, lied about our Pres not being a US citizen, etc etc is no reason for anyone to think anyone was booing her on the Dancing With Stars UN-reality show on ABC. How could anyone get that idea? You betcha *winks*

ABC was just being nice....the scores had nothing to do with the booing....the crowd was booing Palin....Jennifer's scores were great & the booing was directed to Palin....I watched the footage numerous times...Tom Bergeron running over to Palin with the boos started..
Are you kidding? I watched the show and listened with my own ears...have rewatched it several times.....umm she was booed no question.
What's the mystery and who cares?
Whether she got booed or not is irrelevant to the fact that she deserves to be booed and people boo her daily.

Was so obvious when watching Dancing with the Stars and the dancers reaction the booing was because they did not like the score. THIS IS NOTHING BUT THE LEFTS ATTEMPT TO DAMAGE PALIN, and they have egg on their face again.
We come from generations of Democrats and now are so embarrassed the past couple of yrs via the Media, etc we have become Independents. CNN had Lou Dobbs who was honest, and now they have nothing to speak of. That's why the ratings (as we checked the other day) is embarrassing to CNN and MSNBC.....lying will invariably come back to haunt you.

Well, post the raw footage. Considering that Grey got the top scores of the evening, boos for her seem out of place. We're supposed to believe it was just a coincidence that the booing started when the half-term governor walked in to the studio. I expect this kind of reporting on WND or Fox. This just reads like a press release from the Palin camp.
With so many serious issues affecting Americans, this is the best thing CNN can come up with – questioning whether or not Sarah Palin was booed. This just goes to show, as a major News channel, your priority. Who cares whether this stupid woman was booed or not booed. Please start reporting news
