National Republicans Wonder Why No O'Donnell TV Ads

Washington (CNN) – It's no secret that there is no love lost between national Republicans and their GOP Senate candidate in Delaware, Christine O'Donnell.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has only contributed a minimal amount of money to her campaign, and Republican officials in Washington still do not think she can beat the Democrat, Chris Coons.

But O'Donnell's popularity in the Tea Party movement and among other conservatives nationwide has drawn a flood of money into her campaign coffers. Aides say she's raised millions since her surprise GOP primary win in mid-September.

That's why a senior Republican official told CNN that GOP strategists are scratching their heads, wondering why O'Donnell's campaign has not used her fundraising cash yet to air any television ads promoting her campaign.

We put that question to a source close to O'Donnell, who insisted that she will be "on the air very soon."

The source, who asked not to be identified discussing internal strategy, said O'Donnell's first ads are in production now.

"We're going to go up, and we're going to go up big...and when she goes up, she's not coming down," said the O'Donnell source, who would only say that her ads will try to portray the "real Christine O'Donnell."

Delaware does not have its own television market, so most of the ads will be placed on Philadelphia stations, which is a rather expensive big city market.

Still, the O'Donnell source insisted money is not a factor in the campaign's decision to delay its ad campaign. Instead, her advisers wanted to take time to get a sound strategy in place.

"Money is not an object for sure," said the O'Donnell source, "we needed time to prepare budgets, hire a staff, and we didn't want to slap something on the air quickly."

If she spends all that money now, what is she going to use for rent, food, new broom, etc.

"the O'Donnell source insisted money is not a factor in the campaign's decision to delay its ad campaign. Instead, her advisers wanted to take time to get a sound strategy in place."

Translation: They're trying to get her to tone her insistence on making nut case comments only teabaggers will forgive.

I just wonder if she's paying "her" bills first before she expends any cash for campaign business like she's supposed to do?

Bill Maher will be on tonight with yet another installment of the "Princess of Dumb" from former appearances on his "Politically Incorrect" show. By now, the level of stupidity of this woman is legend, but worse yet is the gullibility of the Delaware citizens that voted for her, too.

Maybe it's because she's using the money to buy a new beach house... uh, I mean, campaign headquarters.

Maybe because she lies too much about her resume, when she allegedly went to college, saying she went to college when all she did was APPLY to a college...or talking about 1st dates on a satanic altar with blood on it?

I guess she forgot that she should run ads because she's been too busy paying off her mortgage and her mother with her campaign cash.

All the money in the world won't help if she doesn't have anything to say. However money can buy lots of misinformation. I think the intellectual depth of GOP Senate candidate, Christine O'Donnell will become very apparent $oon.

She is probably buying a new house. That way she will not have to pay rent with the money.

She dosen't want to spend it because when she loses she will have it for her own piggy bank. she has to pay her rent and personal things.

Hey, she's got rent, taxes and school loans to pay back! And a history of spending campaign funds on personal expenses. Anyone who donates to her campaign thinking their money will actually be used for campaigning is a moron.

Palin and O'Donnell 2012, Palin has some personal unresolved issues to do with motherhood and hates the world because of it and well, O'Donnell just can't figure out who she is.

Sha had to see what was left after she paid for rent, groceries and bowling before she made ad buys.

Simple, as before she's using campaign money to go bowling, pay her mother and now probably buying pumpkins and candles for Halloween when she'll turn into a witch.

This little witch is hiding out because she knows her lies have caught up with her, I hope the tea party is proud of their newest selection, between O'Donnell, Rand, Angle, and that freaking nut case Paladino, the teabaggers are beginning to look really bad. If I were a conservative I would be steaming about these unqualified wack job candidates, they all have one thing in common they are all racist and hypocrites just like the tea party.

Yeah right!!. She's getting a new wardrobe. where has she actually worked before. Don't think she expected to actually win. And why didn't they the necessary paperwork to the IRS for her organization, SALT? She has not filed in 3 yrs. Maybe she's protesting the IRS as she is Masterbation....

Considering the accusations about using previous campaign money to live on, I wouldn't be surprised if she was using this cash for the same purpose, now and most likely into the future. I don't believe this woman has had a job for quite some time.

Why would they wonder anything? Everyone knows O'Donnell uses her campaign funds for living expenses.

History says she will use the money to live on.
Don't like that- too bad! Reform the way campaigns are run and financed and how donations are spent.
If you are going to be dumb enough to send money to someone who is doing a job search, then don;t question how they spend it.
