Liberal coalition rallies in Washington for jobs, education

(CNN) - Five weeks after Tea Party enthusiasts rallied in Washington and one month before mid-term elections, a coalition of liberal groups will have their turn on the streets of the U.S. capital.

The "One Nation Working Together" together rally kicks off Saturday at the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall.

The alliance of progressive and liberal groups say they've joined together to demand more economic opportunities and better education.

  3. Limbaugh is a liberal

Yeah, but according to neocons education, or reality for that matter is liberally biased. The only educational authorities you should listen to and learn from are Hannity, Beck, and Limbaugh! They know more about everything than any expert with a real doctorate who worked their entire lifetimes researching.
Screw the fact that companies are now outsourcing skilled labor as well because they can't find qualified Americans with enough education to fill their positions.

Sounds like they have number of good ideas that will strenghten country both domesticslly and internationally. I say vote a straight democratic ticket and return power to the people. The economy starts when the millions of middle class workers have money to spend, and drive up demand for products and services. Tax cut extentions for the middle class to help the economy expand, expiring tax cuts for the wealthy so we don't have to borrow another 700 BILLION DOLLARS from China. Truely this is the best of all possible worlds.

It's funny that a group of liberals would gather to complain about jobs and education but not call for the president to remove our troops from Afghanistan ,now. It also strange that they wouldn't mention sealing our borders and protecting American workers jobs from illegals.I kinda miss the old days where liberals/progressive didn't pick and chose what issues they would champion. They were out in the open about their views and you could agree or not.I bet you won't here the word GITMO mentioned or the fact that Obama broke his promise to them.

Curtther, Glenn has tied them to "commies" because several of the groups listed on the ONE NATION WEBSITE as endorsing this event are COMMUNIST GROUPS! Look for yourself. There are many socialist groups listed as well. Glenn didn't make that up, it's a fact. I personally don't believe in communism or socialism...and I'm relly wondering why these groups are being welcomed in this rally.
