Gee, no pictures from above to show the throngs of participants. Re: We March For Hope Not Hate. First, If there is no hate there, then why is there a sign with "Where were those...Tea baggers... Those hypocritical bastards..."? Yup, no hate there. Second, why did it take union bailout money for the unions to demand that members attend this 'grassroots' rally? Third, there certainly seems to be a lot of scowls in this parade. Where's the joy of demonstrating the freedom of expression; i.e., presenting your views.

It's certainly a more diverse and positive crowd than we saw at Becks Whitestock and the tea party/klan gatherings.

Nice to see a rally with more than just old white folks (mostly men) in the crowd....

Notice there were no hate signs at the Beck rally and compare it to the dope addicts parade shown in these pictures. Calling TEA Party names and then of course the bigots from the NAACP. Love it, why doesn't CNN show the contrast with the Beck rally. Hateful scummy union toadys doing the Obozo bidding. Strong smell of marijuana over the mall. That is what composes the Democratt liberal party. How much of our stimulus money did the unions provide for these lying scumbags.

Notice how CNN denigrates the "Restoring Honor" rally by intimating that it's attendance numbers were "tens of thousands" ( when we KNOW the number was HUNDREDS of thousands), yet CNN won't show an air photo of the " One Nation" rally because of the embarrassingly low turnout?

We're watching CNN. Your bias is showing. Fix it or you're going to keep bleeding viewers to fox news.

So they say the march for hope not hate, well excuse calling us bastards certainly not for hope, or is it they will become bastards, as well, oh well they say it takes one to know one. But anyho, they are full of hatred, envy, frustration, and all they want for the working, honest american to support these bums, with the governments blessing, and of course the unions, we know who the unions protect, the lazy, no good for nothing employee, so as you can see they are very compatible.

This rally is about what? The anti-dote to the Tea Parties? Look liberals, despite your self hate and wishes for the great great America we fought for to see its demise, you are losing the hearts and minds of normal americans. Fact 1) our Government is out of control Fact 2) Americans have now awoken to this fact and will hold Republicans and Demacrats accountable in future 3) This country was founded on the principles of individual rights not collective salvation. Lastly November 2nd is just one month away and Americans will be out in droves to halt this non-sense.

I wish I could have been there; I went to high school in Alexandria, and it looks like the rally enjoyed beautiful fall weather.

As a proud Liberal, I am very heartened and pleased to see real diversity at the rally. I believe in the UNITED States of America, in people from different walks of life chosing to come together and act out of hope instead of living in fear.

I'm also a realist. The mess GW Bush and the Republicans left our country in could not be fixed in two short years. I am not giving up, I am not feeling defeated, and I WILL VOTE DEMOCRATIC IN NOVEMBER!

"Second, why did it take union bailout money for the unions to demand that members attend this 'grassroots' rally?"

First, there were more than just Union people at the rally and of the Union participants, the majority used their own money to get to the rally.

Second, where's your outrage at the Koch brothers funding the teabagger movement? Do you actually think all those retired folks have enough scratch to pay for those half-million dollar tour buses they ride around in?

Beaner ECMO – how is calling someone a hypocrite hate? Have you seen any of the signs at Tea Party rallies. Have you seen any of the videos of the tea partiers at those rallies? Maybe you should look up the definition of hate.

Nice union paid for and busses in crowd. I wonder how many were paid to attend.

Like most people, I've had my share of challenges in my life, some of which were pretty devastating (death, loss, etc.). One thing I've learned about myself over the years is that giving up is not an option because that's the only way you can guarantee defeat.

And so even though President Obama hasn't fixed all our nation's problems in two short years (because no one could and certainly not with the Republicans doing everything they can to make him and our country fail), I remain firmly committed to my Democratic Party and its members.

Because what's the alternative? Turning control back over to the Republicans who have nothing to offer us except tried-and-failed policies? Whose idea of inspiration is to lie and spread fear, hatred and division? Are you nuts?!?

Vote for our country's future = Vote Democratic

Nice to see a rallly in favor of jobs and education for all and in support of our President whose policies are moving us in that direction instead of the Beck/Teabagger rally for hate against anyone who is not their brand of Christian and who policies would bring us right back to the Bush era. GO "ONE NATION" - we need more like you!

It's nice to see a positve rally, a diverse rally that shows what America is all about. The Tea Party stood before the world, and said we have no honor, these folks, stood proudly before the world and said they are working hard for the principles that made America great.....What a difference, I'm so proud!
