Where is Christine O'Donnell?
Some local reporters that I've spoke to here in Delaware claim that the Republican Senate nominee has largely avoided the local media. O'Donnell has publicly stated she would avoid contact with the national press.
So we set out to find the candidate. Or, at least, information on her public campaign schedule.
My producer, cameraman and I drove to Delaware. This after sending numerous e-mails to campaign staffers and calling them repeatedly over the past eight days – each time getting scant response.
We arrived at O'Donnell's new campaign headquarters in Wilmington, greeted by an empty receptionist's chair. In the corner of the small room was a locked door, with sounds of voices heard on the other side.
We knocked until someone answered.
Two men emerged and asked for our credentials, but refused to identify themselves – at least initially. They later told us their names: Campaign Manager Matt Moran and Chris Merola.
They explained that O'Donnell is standing by her pledge to avoid the national press. But both men were emphatic that O'Donnell is not avoiding local media. They rattled off a list of local reporters and news outlets the candidate has spoken to since winning the Republican Senate primary three weeks ago.
Both men explained how the campaign is ramping up a staff that was small for the primary but needs to be much larger for the general election.
As for their initial suspicions about who we were, they explained that not everyone in the press is appropriately neutral -so they're often leery of reporters.

Just like Palin, running and hiding from the press and the public who should hold you accountable for the crazy things you say. How is that OK when you're running for public office? Only Republicans vote for loons that do this.

It's not the media they should be leery of it's their joke of a candidate. How's that brain switch between humans/animals and mice with human brains going for ya'? At least she can't copy being cross eyed but I bet she is trying.
Rachel maddow, who the Obama administration thanked for her work was there too. So, I am sure her office is avoiding political hack jobs supported by the political machine. I don't think she should have been the candidate, but this hit job by the media is too Democrat for me.
She is a real piece of work. Can't belive anyone is dumb enough to vote for her. As for the last article . If Obama and Clinton where on the same ticket the repos could kiss the white house good bye.
The liberal media is out to get Christine. Let her do her business so she can win and restore fiscal sanity to America!
Why is she running for Senate? Isn't our government "by the people, for the people"? How can she be a U.S. Senator if she avoids the press?

Christine O'Donnell don't want too talk to the National media because she afraid someone may fine something else she did that was stupid. This person dose not belong in the U.S.Senate.
Coward and afraid of the truth getting out about her. She is unqualified and doesn't know herself from a hole in the ground. Yet, why do the right wing nut crazies find something in her to vote for her? It is called ignorance!

She raised over $2.75 million the week after her primary victory. With the release of her I am ad, in one day she's raised $250,000, the goal is $1 million. She can get her message out to Delaware without the priviledged 4th estate's blessing and coverage..
CNN is so clueless the only fundraising article I could find on the net came from CNN and was all about how great it was Chris Coons was able to raise $125,000 after her primary. I guess it's not news O'Donnell raised over 20 times that amount. That shows the insulated world you elites live in. You don't speak for a majority of real Americans. Real America is sick of you elitists.
Why hasn't Christine O'Donnell supplied America with her original birth certificate for review? What is she afraid of?

You have a campaign collecting money with no candidate. Its a robbery plain and simple. Theft of public funds.

Oh, well, paranoids will be paranoids. Lord knows, a candidate should never talk to anyone who isn't clearly identified as a supporter. Apparently, O'Donnell isn't aware that, in the bizarre likelihood that she should ever become a U.S. Senator, she should represent everyone in Delaware – not just her Tea Party fellow-travelers.
Money can't buy you love or an election. It's about substance. The Republican Tea Party is funded by outside groups Kock industries, Dick Amry Freedomworks and karl Rove Crossroads all billionares. The Republicans are too lazy to go door to door and ask for a vote. The wave started on the west coast with Meg Whitman, Carly Fiorina and will crash on the east coast on Nov 2. Americans can't be bought.

She's going to transfer those unspent campaign funds to Ukraine and skip town November 4th....................................................her campaign finance manager (herself) told her she could keep all the money not spent. Pay back rent, get a car, maybe a new broom.................
She'll be out and about in Wilmington on Thursday night if you guys are looking for her....here's a hint to maybe get you back into her good graces....try asking her a question about this mysterious subject called 'POLICY'.....it's what the voters are actually interested in......stop pretending that this is some Lindsay Lohan story.
