(CNN) - An influential social conservative organization is using humor in a new television commercial to try and convince voters that a handful of House Democrats are responsible for helping to expand government and placing a burden on everyday Americans.
"Woke up this morning and it was there, big government on my back," an actor brushing his teeth says to the camera as a suited man clings to his back. "It's a huge problem. It's affecting everyone."
The Family Research Council Action PAC is spending $125,000 over the next two weeks to run the ad on cable news against Reps. John Boccieri of Ohio, Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, Betsy Markey of Colorado, Tom Perriello of Virginia and Carol Shea-Porter of New Hampshire.
The ad against Boccieri is running in the four other congressional districts.

Joseph – Ohio – I couldn't agree more. And I would add that the GOP's new "Pledge to America" is just a repeat of the policies that nearly destroyed us. So yes, we need to get out and vote.
Dems have had control of the House and Senate for the last 4 years so maybe it is time they started taking responsibilty for some of this mess....
Wake up, the Dem's are going as negative and using the same dirty tricks as the Repubs. But at least this commercial sounds humorous!
@27 Days until Socialism dies in the United States... 1. No it won't since even if you do gain seats you'll only have gridlock and 2. Unless you get rid of social security, medicare, the public school system, and hundreds of other programs, we're still going to be a "socialist" country in your book. The good news is, we aren't a socialist country, so, don't worry so much about it.
