Dems up with two Senate ads in Colorado, Missouri

(CNN) – National Senate Democrats are up with two ads targeting Republican candidates in Colorado and Missouri Wednesday, the latest sign both parties are now firing at a feverish pitch with less than four weeks until Election Day.

In the new Colorado spot, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee says Republican Ken Buck wants to spend billions on corporate giveaways while cutting social programs like social security and aide to students.

"The more you hear, the more you wonder," the ad states of Buck. The spot comes the same day Republicans released an ad that portrays Buck's opponent, incumbent Sen. Michael Bennet, as a tax-and-spender in the pocket of Washington Democrats.

In the Missouri spot, the DSCC says Republican candidate Roy Blunt, a longtime congressman, has a clear record of supporting big business and encouraging the shipment of jobs overseas.

"It's us versus them, and Roy Blunt works for them," the ad states.

Blunt faces Democrat Robin Carnahan, the current Missouri secretary of state and scion of a famous political family. Polls show Blunt is maintaining a single digit lead.

I never thought I would see the day when the tea baggers would take the side of billionaires, foreign billionaires, China, Saudi Arabia, big oil, and Wall Street over the American people. But, I am told that is what republicans are now all about: me, me, me, and the hell with everyone else.

Sorry Dems-we are on to ya! Talk about shipping jobs overseas, look at what the Dems environmental global warming hysteria has caused besides making lawmakers rich. Their rabid environmentalism has helped to thwart nearly all housing market growth and development with burdensome regulations that add additional costs to new housing. A house that should cost $125K to build and sell now costs $250K due to the added permitting and mitigation expenses passed on to buyers. How about those new light bulbs that are coming, the US companies creating incandescent bulbs are closing their US plants and importing those "green" dim pieces of crap from China. What a bunch of phony baloney propaganda, we all know who is killing the economy!

The real republicans want a government employee monitoring every woman's bedroom. Oh, I forgot, they also want tax cuts for the top 2% of Americans. They think this can be paid for if they stop funding every government but war.

Democrats can't say anything positive, because they've made a mess of the economy. Yes, it started with Clinton's low income housing policy that forced banks to make loans to people who couldn't pay it back. Those loans were passed on to corrupt/quasi-government agencies Fannie and Freddie Mac - which unfortunately were being regulated by idiot Barney Frank (he was warned 23 times since 2003 of the dangers we now are experiencing). Democrats have further messed up our economy with majorities in Congress since 2006 (yes, 4 years ago) and super majorities since 2008 that supported the stupidest policies in 100 years.

Why vote for the party that support their party more than the American people. No more Pelosi stooges.

Is there ANY business that the looney leftists have NOT demonized and targeted? Jobs moving overseas is a fact of life. It is called a GLOBAL ECONOMY! And in case the stupid DemocRATS haven't noticed the USA is a part of it, in spite of their attempts to demolish our economy.

I guess the looney left business model calls for mandatory unionization, unaffordable pension and health plans, $100/hr do nothing jobs, etc. After all it has worked out soooo well for the car companies and states, one in bankruptcy and the other hopelessly in debt up to their eyeballs.

If the looney left in this country gets their wish, there will be NO USA corporations. That will make for one fine economy now won't it? Total, complete imbeciles that haven't a CLUE! Obozo, Reid and Pelosi will be the down fall of this country if this continues.

  6. Don't trust a democrat--they gave us Obamacare

Also, does anyone really believe that republicans are sending jobs over seas? ... anyone with brains? Democratic policies have made it difficult to run a business in the US. When costs of running a business go up, then companies need to find a way to trim costs to compete with China's 'slave labor'....

Please think things through before you take the word of a democrat or believe an ad by a democrat.

Nope, sorry, free advertising for the Dems doesn't fix it either CNN. How about some SUBSTANTIVE ANALYSIS of the policy position. And no...that does NOT mean having two moron bobbleheads sit around and argue using their overly expensive degrees as "proof" that they're right...it means RESEARCH and FACTCHECKING and REPORTING WITH INTEGRITY. Look it up. I think they used to call it "journalism" or some such. Just because it would destroy one side's arguments is not an excuse for avoiding it.

Get 'em Dems! Show the world you have a spine and go after the swine--repiggies!
Remember America the party responsible for our economic woes, pollution, enormous debt, undereducated populace, outsourced jobs, etc......the Repiggies!
A vote for any and ALL Republicans is a vote for destruction, ruin, and third-world status! The next outsourced job could very well be YOUR OWN!

Republicans are hiding from the media because the polls show them their ahead, just like you as an Americans vote doesn't count; but then again it doesn't if you don't fit the top 2% of the rich. Don't let Republicans treat you like you are non-existent just because you aren't rich like them.

How's that "Free Trade" working out for you GOP? I guess as long as your Big $ special interest lobbyists keep giving you campaign funds...that's all that matters. Let the American worker work for minimum wage flipping burgers you say because we're lazy. Now you the GOP Clones want to even repeal the minimum wage and unemployment. Good luck Ohio!

It's time for the real sane and patriotic Americans to wake up and recognize the danger the GOBPbaggers pose to the future of America. They value party over country and march in lockstep to pursue the failed ideas of their Friedman/Rand cult of deregulation, free (unfair) trade and tax cuts for the ultrarich. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU! Repeat that as many times as necessary until it sinks in, because if you liked the ditch they drove America into last time, you're gonna love the canyon they're aiming for now.
