(CNN) - Rush Limbaugh criticized President Obama's economic positions Tuesday during his radio show with some intense rhetoric, even for him.
"He's a jackass, he's an economic illiterate, he's an economic ignoramus and that's being charitable," Limbaugh said on his popular radio program.
Limbaugh was talking about Obama's tax policy and whether to extend the Bush era tax cuts for individuals making over $200,000 and couples making over $250,000.
He referenced a meeting the president had with his economic advisers this week.
"Here are these two experienced economists telling this neophyte little man child president, look you've got a confidence problem out there," Limbaugh said. "I do believe he's an idiot where capitalism is concerned."
Later in the show Limbaugh referred to President Obama as "our imam child."

In a presidential term characterized by vitriolic behavior on the part of the right wing, this stands out as one of the more disgraceful and disrespectful comments made about an intellectually superior Obama by a nasty little hate-monger.
Is only in America you will have this kind of moron getting a well deseved attention. Look at who is calling President Obama a jackass; dumb fat cow that's is fortunate to have a space to exhibit his racism.
There was a time, regardless of the party of the person that held power in our nation, people showed respect and support, because we knew we were all in it together. We pulled together, and made the nation work. The process was never without problems, but none that could not be overcome with a little effort. Today we are bombarded with messages from the likes of this (so called), radio personality, that has made a tidy sum from advertisers, and listeners who purchase the products of the companies that advertise on this show. Maybe, just maybe it is time to let these companies keep their goods, or services, and see how fast this human speed bump can be taken from the airwaves. There is a difference from being informative, and factual, and being loud, mis-informed, and divisive. There is absolutely no need for this kind of troublemaking, hate spewing, ill conceived radio programming to exist. And, the only reason it exists, is because of money, nothing else.
It funny how vitriolic you'll be bcause of the impact the taxes will have on your new $400 MILLION (with an "M") contract to get on the radio and spew hot air, hate, and lies. What's funnier? Your followers, most of whom draw an average salary of about $45k a year, are marching behind you like the lemmings they are. Even though they'll hear you on the radio saying something that they personally know is not true.
Never stopping to think for a second, "Heeey... Wait a minute. I'm not getting taxed. He is. I heard that yesterday. Disappointed, but not surprised. I read less respectful comments about this president, the last president, and any number of other public figures every day on these comment boards. I wouldn't get too indignant; this is typical political discourse in the U.S. anymore. Limbaugh just has a higher profile than the average critic. Watch MSNBC tonight (or any night) and see what sort of name-calling occurs.
Obama is out to destroy capitalism; that's part of what his "change" is all about. What people need to realize is that the government functions on tax $$ which come from people's paychecks which come from employers who operate businesses. When the owners of these businesses get sufficiently fed up of paying higher taxes they can just fold and live off their savings. When enough business fold who will pay taxes? wheere will government get the $$? Guess they'll have to whip it out of all us slaves. Hmmmm.

People beware of Rush Limbaugh's statement, he is seeking his own interest. Anything President Obama does in Rush's eye will not be good enough. I think he should be the last person to speak and look at the facts. Since President Obama has been in office, He has shown he is for the people, serving the people and wants to see the poor as well as the rich prosper. Limbaugh feels afraid that he will have to pay higher taxes because and his overall income will be affected. The ground is being leveled and the inequity is being obliterated. I reached a bit of a limit with Mr. Limbaugh. Referring to the President of the United States over the airwaves in that manner is wholly inappropriate and disrespectful towards the office and the country.
Really, insulting the President of the United States for wanting to stop the tax cut for the riches and big corporations who ship jobs overseas? I think it should be limit to the freedom of speech in this erea. You insult somebody for hate reason, you should be arrested for offense to the person.
Obama is not the only economic illiterate floating around out there. The postings of most of the Liberal/Democrats on this forum indicate they are as clueless as Obama with regard to economics and finance. And that probably goes a long way in to explaining why so many people in this country are under water in their own personal finances (mortgages, credit cards, etc.).
He thinks he's an idiot where capatalism is concerned? Then explain the past 30 years of conservative ideology that has been in place. The rich have gotten tax breaks for 30 years, ever since Reagan. The bracket has only shifted up and down by a few percentage points compared to the 75% and 90% upper bracket that was in place through the 1940's, 50's and 60's and a good portion of the 70's. Funny, we had the strongest middle class during those 40 years, and the economic ups and downs weren't as deep as the bubble economy we've been riding since the Reagan era. We enjoyed well over 3% GDP growth every decade from 1940 to 1980 and since 1980 it's never gone above 3%. So, considering trickle down economics has been in place since 1981 and that was gonna bring all sorts of jobs and opportunities to the middle class, according to brain trusts like Limbaugh, where are all the jobs. It's 30 years later and look at where we're at. Capatalism is not synonomous with democracy. Pure capatalism is destructive to small "d" democracy. Mr. Limabugh doesn't understand that.

Mr. Limabugh is an idiot where business is concerned. Nobody gives someone a job because they got a tax break. You give someone a job because you offer a service or product that people DEMAND, and you then hire someone to help fulfill that demand. You get a write-off for the cost of that employees salary anyway, no matter what. It's about demand folks, not supply. Give the middle class a living wage, just like Henry Ford did, so they can go out and purchase the products they make and thus more people will get hired no matter what the tax rates are. It's an ignorant argument that tax breaks create jobs. If that were true we wouldn't have had any jobs from 1940 to 1980 when the upper tax bracket was up to 90%. But during that period the middle class had jobs a plenty, along with a secure retirement. My dad, a blue collar worker, quit a job in 1958 and found another job that same afternoon. Try that today. And go look up the deficit to GDP ratio and tax brackets during that period. Someone needs to sit Limbaugh down and educate him.
