Spanish ad targets Boxer

(CNN) - Starting tomorrow a new third party ad supporting California Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina will air across Spanish language television stations.

The spot paid for by the conservative Susan B. Anthony List and National Organization for Marriage targets Fiorina's Democratic opponent, three-term incumbent Sen. Barbara Boxer on social issues and immigration.

"Barbara Boxer doesn't share our values. She supports abortion and homosexual marriage," the narrator says in Spanish. "We've had enough of her talk."

The 30-second video will air for a week on Telemundo, Telefutura and Univision in San Diego, Fresno and Los Angeles, according to a spokeswoman for the Susan B. Anthony List.

"There could be no greater contrast between Carly Fiorina's commitment to protect Life and Barbara Boxer's continual imposition of a pro-abortion agenda on her constituents," a statement from the List said. "This joint effort will help Latino voters know who really shares their values."

Boxer's campaign manager Rose Kapolczynski responded to the ad on Wednesday.

"Latinos know that Barbara Boxer is on their side and that's why recent polls show Boxer with a double digit lead among Latinos," Kapolczynski said in an e-mail. "Fiorina is out of touch with California's Latino community."

The List plans to spend $3 million on Senate races before the November elections.

Fiorina and Boxer are locked in a close race. In the latest CNN/Time/Opinion Research Poll of likely voters, 52 percent of respondents said they would back Boxer and 43 percent said they would back Fiorina. The survey had a sampling error of 2.5 percentage points.

People need to wise up. Life for the average persom living in America has only gotten more complicated under Democrat rule. They spend a billion to dole out a couple of hundred dollars in aid to people. It's time to put true representatives back in Congress and the Senate. people that want to represent their community and not a political party.

When are these right wing, pot banging drama queens that make up the regressive conservative chrizz-jun coalition gonna realize libs and progressives and most god-fearing people ARE NOT "pro-abortion". Nobody except the mentally defective are. Only manulipitave, fear-mongering holier-than-thou demagogues use that kind of inflamatory, hate filled language. I am pro-life AND pro-choice – What kind of label are you batty anti-choicers gonna put on that position...

As the republican right wingnuts would say, "Hey Fiorina, speak English!" To the GObP, English is the official language, and to pander to hispanics is just not being a conservative republican.

  7. Save California businesses (jobs)

Baraba Boxer is a RICH egomaniac and a fool. I can't believe that she has any support. A vote for Boxer is a vote for more unemployment (but, also more welfare!)

If California wants to return to its glory days, we need to get rid of the idiots that are killing the economy (sending our jobs to AZ, NV, UT and other states that are more economically competitive.

VOTE FOR: WHITMAN (Governor) AND FIORINA (Senate)

Has anybody checked into all of Boxers employees to ensure they aren't illegals? Just wondering if we should get Gloria Alred on the case? Oh yeah... Boxer is a DemocRAT. It won't matter because DemocRATS don't follow silly laws. Never mind...

White people who hate brown people are now paying to put a add of a ugly white white woman on Spanish TV.

What these white freaks who hate brown people don't understand is that our brown brothers and sisters are NOT STUPID. They know who is on their side and who would either make them slaves or put them in concentration camps (because they are brown)

Latinos aren't stupid as Fiorina is trying to portray them to be, in fact it's totally stupid of Fiorina to say that when Boxer is well known to Latinos. If Fiorina was smart, she'd know better than to attempt this with Latinos because it is back firing, big time.

Supposedly, the party of no idea doesn't go well with CA, the heart of technology.

The exciting fourth wave of smart grid & renewable energy with great job potential world-wide is perceived to call for eco-friendly representatives.

I feel the destructive wars stood in the way of progress in such high tech, which has resulted in a financial problem in CA.
Finally, the time seems to have come for CA to spread wings all across the world.

Nice pandering from Fiorina. Too bad she didn't say anything about treating non-whites with respect and dignity rather than potential criminals or illegals.
