Palin on presidential run

(CNN) - There's further proof that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is considering a presidential run in 2012.

According to the Palm Beach Post, Palin discussed her political ambition at a webcast taping for conservative magazine, Newsmax, on Wednesday.

"I'll run for President if the American people want me to," Palin told the live audience.

But this is not the first time Palin has addressed the issue.

"A reason to run (for president) is if nobody else were to step up with the solutions that are needed to get the economy back on the right track," Palin told Fox News in September.

And in an April interview with "100 Huntley Street," a daily Christian talk show, Palin said she would "pursue" a presidential bid if she decides it's the best way to help everyday people with their challenges.

The new comments come as Palin gears up to campaign with RNC Chairman Michael Steele next week and after a so-far successful season of candidate endorsements for the midterm elections. A new CBS poll out Thursday found that 64 percent of those surveyed thought she would not make an effective president.

Ha-Ha! LOL! ROTFLMAO! Joe Miller won't even say whether Palin is qualified to be president. He said she's "constitutionally qualified." Of course she is; anyone 35 years or older and an American citizen is constitutionally qualified. That doesn't make me qualified to be POTUS and Palin is definitely not qualified. But I do want her to run. Please run Sarah, and have the Witch on the ticket with you. Obama will mop and wax the floor with both of you!

Just what we need, another intellectually limited President controlled by the extreme right wing of the Republican party.

The 64% of respondents to the survey who think Sarah would be an effective president – their brains need to be donated for scientific study while they live! Don't hate Sarah; she's just playing the American money-grabbing game. Blame the imbicles that keep following and paying her.

Palin do some research, there are 10 women presidents around the World that prepared themselves in many fields of educational degrees, such as doctors, lawyers, economist and worked in their fields. They also have spouses of equal intelligence because water seeks it's own level. Palin, save yourself from further embarrassment until you and your husband get some EDUCATION. Americans have a problem understanding anything Palin says, what conversation could she have that would make sense to other World leaders, she'd need a babysitter 24/7 which was proven during the McCain campaign. Running around the world telling leaders "you betcha" and Todd telling people he races dogs for a living, like I said "water seeks it's own level".

Palin doesn't expect to win. She just wants the continued attention and money making opportunities.

Palin doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to identify and confront the real enemy of America and the rest of the world. John F. Kennedy had the courage, but Palin doesn't. She won't get my vote. I will vote independent again.

"If the American people want me to run." Well, Sarah, the majority does not want you to run, to preach at us, or to be in our face for one more minute. However, since your ego rules your decisions (and evidently, talks to you inGod's voice) I know you will. Good luck with the media you have dissed. Good luck with the Republican men in the debates...you thought prepping for Biden was too hard? Wait until you can't get away with winking and blathering about energy in Alaska when you're asked about civil rights. And good luck convincing anyone not already in your base (all 3 million of them) that you are worth a moment's thought after what you have done to bring down this country for 2 years. Then, too, there are always your ties to the secessionists that we'd love to hear about.

if studies showed she'd win, republicans would run her even though any thinking person knows how harmful she would be for the country. What would that say about how much the republican party actually cares about the american people? They only care about winning, not what is best for America. Because any reasonably sane person knows this isn't it.

There's a typo here – says "64 percent of those surveyed thought she would make an effective president", which almost caused me to have a heart attack when I read it. But click on the link to the poll, and it says ".... would NOT make...". Whew! I thought we'd gone to Crazytown for a minute.

Oh man....We are going to have to endure her hate-filled rhetoric on a whole another level now. She represents the worst in Americans.

Hopefully she will quit like she did as a Governor before her words incite death to those she is against.

Most voters are takers and users who can't even obey the speed limit. The government is a reflection of the character of those who elected them. It is a sad situation.

Sarah Palin and the tea party can be called all the names in the book, but unless progressives get out and vote in large numbers this November, they will have a very huge impact on our country as we know it, and that will not be good for the average people.

"If nobody else where to step up with the solutions that are needed to get the ecomony back on track." WOW! Such a startment coming from you Shara Palin is, the epitome of laughable. I know you don't read but, have to heard Jobs are coming back, Banks are stable, the Stock Market is up, the Auto Industry has recovered and perhapes more importantly, we're no long headed towards an economic depression. All this thanks to the policies of our present President, Barack Obama. You probably heard of him.

By the way, when did you start having solutions to anything? Do you mean solutions like when things get tuff, quit as you did midterm in Alaska. So not to make a big deal of this, let me whisper in your ear a little advise . YOU'RE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO BE PRESIDENT, YOU DON'T QUALIFY AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU'LL NEVER WIN.

Palin must be dreaming to say 'if people want to run....'. No body in the right mind even within the tea party want her to become president of this country. They know better.

CNN I think you ought to post my comment that points out an egregious error in your story on Palin's poll numbers. Correct the record, at least.

As soon as I posted (above) this appeared at the top of the post: "Your comment is awaiting moderation."
Below the Post a comment box is the following statement: "CNN welcomes a lively and courteous discussion as long as you follow the Rules of Conduct set forth in our Terms of Service. Comments are not pre-screened before they post."
Somebody at CNN ought to do a story on how good they could be if they cleaned their act up and did some serious work. I don't know how anyone can take any of the "reporting" seriously.
