Analysis: A Sarah Palin moment

8:49 p.m. – O’Donnell couldn't answer the same question that stumped Sarah Palin in her interview with Katie Couric — about recent Supreme Court decisions.

Damn that 'gotcha' media. Why do they ask this poor little girl these really hard questions?

Why is that surprising? She is a Palin clone.

Even if O'Donnell were a Democrat, I would vote for her after tonight.

So what! Ask any average citizen the same question and they too would stumble - it is only the career politicians who can answer it because they're trained to deal with the leftist media. And besides, how is that relevant to the biggest issue we face: the Socialist agenda of Obama and the Democrats is a dismal failure and pushing our country to the brink of bankruptcy.

On November 2nd, vote for the American principles of freedom and liberty, vote Conservative, vote Republican.

It would be funny if it weren't so scary she actually made it this far.

Are you absolutely kidding me? Break in to a highly relevant political debate during election season for a feature story about something that has been going on for 2 months half a world away??? I am very happy for the miners, and I am sure it makes a great story, and will probably get higher ratings than a humdrum debate, but these discussions influence decisions of voters, and I think it is HIGHLY irresponsible of the sole "news" organization covering the event to cut away to a video of the Chilean National Anthem.

She's not a "career politician", how is she supposed to know any Supreme Court cases? I liked how she mentioned pornography. What for? We don't know, but you can be certain she wants it banned.

Over and over, Christine did not provide specifics in her answers. She kept throwing out prepared "sound bites" and attacks, but could never do more than bluff through a question or redirect to her own topic. Big lack of specificity on her part. Especially when compared to Coon's long list of specifics.

You commend the Couric Wannabe commentator for her ringer question? This is the best topic a CNN "Political Analyst" decided to comment on? So much for "Fair and Balanced" (oh wait, that's someone else)...

By far O'donnel won the debate. The woman next to Wolf was a piece of work. Very biased and he seemed to have a hidden agenda. O'donnel was aggressive and more concrete in her answers. She was direct and gutsy against a career politician. Who cares if she doesn't know recent Supreme Court decisions. That's like asking someone what the weather is like.

Republican or Democrat, our US Congress needs informed, sharp, honest and solid individuals with principles. Their foundation will be a benchmark for healthy policy making and progress for our current state of affairs. Ms O'Donnell, seems not to be informed, honest (finance reform position unacceptable–public figure financed by private corporations and not disclose is??!!! who do think you are?!!!) and somebody with a solid foundation. Changing religion like changing shirts, satanism and/or witchcraft is not a foundation that I consider solid by any stretch. I was 20 years once and in college but I did not do these type of things...what this tells me is a person with no principles easily manipulated to do anything.

I feel that Odonnell is an airhead like Palin. She never really answered many of the direct questions. She talked around many of them. This one of the question she said that she would post her answer on the website. What is that about. I am open minded person when it comes to politicals. But that is not what the senate needs.

    Supreme Court decisions???
Geez, it's so much easier to just say Obama is a SOCIALIST, without even knowing the meaning of the word (or how to spell it)...

After watching this debate as a 40 year Delaware resident, I would be embarrassed if the citizens of Delaware elected Christine O'Donnell. She showed herself to be lacking in the needed knowledge andavoided answering almost every question. She never said whatg she would do. Her constant interrupting and laughing showed no class. My vote is decided and I am a Republican but will not vote that way.I

She is her master's (Sarah Palin) pupil. I would have been more surprised if she had a response.

Ahh, the brains of the tea party. Do they really understand what they are asking for or is it all just little sound bites? If they would give up their social security and medicare and then stand there and say they want smaller government I will back them. It's just when someone says they want government to keep their hands off their medicare that I have to laugh and also wonder why we aren't paying for their prozac.

Wolfe had to toss her a bone. As a conservative Christian she couldn't come up with Rowe V Wade. Maybe she thinks that's a dilemma George Washington faced. She's not ready for prime time.
