Reid 46, Angle 43 in new Nevada Senate poll

(CNN) - A new poll indicates that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has a three point advantage over Sharron Angle, his Republican challenger, in the Senate battle in Nevada.

According to a Suffolk University survey released Wednesday, 46 percent of likely voters in Nevada support Reid, the top Democrat in the Senate, with 43 percent backing Angle, the GOP nominee and a former state lawmaker who enjoys strong support by many Tea Party activists.
The other six candidates on the ballot are in the low single digits, with four percent saying they will vote for "none of these candidates," which is allowed in Nevada, and three percent undecided.

While Reid's three point margin is within the poll's sampling error, the Suffolk survey is one of only two recent polls to have Reid ahead. All other recent survey's conducted in October give Angle a single digit advantage over Reid.

The Suffolk University poll indicates that Angle holds a 22 point advantage over Reid among independent and non-partisan voters.

According to the poll, Nevadans are split on the job Reid's doing, with 49 percent saying they approve of how Reid is handling his duties as a senator, and 47 percent saying they disagree. But only 43 percent have a favorable opinion of the four-term senator, with 54 percent saying they see him in a negative light.

Forty-one percent of people questioned say they have a favorable opinion of Angle, with 52 percent saying they hold an unfavorable opinion of her.

Reid and Angle face off Thursday night in their first debate.

The Suffolk University poll was conducted October 8-11, with 500 likely voters in Nevada questioned by telephone. The survey's sampling error is plus or minus 4.4 percentage points.

Wow the Liberal CNN found one poll that gives Reid an edge while all the other polls place Angle at 49 and Reid at 47. Imagine the Glee at CNN to find one fake pool that favors their guy Reid.

In what nation did you take this poll ????
7 out of 10 where I work don't agree with this president and Ried, don’t trust this president and Reid, won’t support the president and the Democrats in charge, sure, you keep asking the same question to the same people.

Here is what a Democrat has to run on:
    highest unemployment in 10 years
highest home foreclosure rate in 30 years
    higher taxes
    tax evading Democratic Party
    tax evading Obama administration
    the “Porkulus” Spending bill
out of control budget / no budget
    health care reform disaster
    Cap and Trade=TAX
4 terrorist attacks in the USA since Obama took office
Oil spill disaster in the Gulf

I'm not a single issue voter, but anyone who advocates against abortion as a choice for a woman impregnated from a violent rape by a stranger is person whose style of thinking is one I would be far from comfortable with in dealing with any issue. Thus Angle is not a person I think we need in a position of power.

Nevadans are finally coming to their senses and see how psycho Angle is. She said herself she has McConnell in her pocket. She's already part of the establishment. The only difference is that she's a loon.

This can only mean one thing. I was FINALLY called to participate in a governor poll for MD. Not sure who called but even knowing that I am a Democrat they distorted some truths about O'Malley to favor ehrlich who already lost one election.
That being said, I cannot believe that this lunatic still has 43 ratings in the polls. What part of she is NUTS don't the people of Nevada get. Please listen to what she has been saying about social security and medicare, the department of education, EPA, the cities in Michigan and Texas under Arab rule.
THIS WOMAN IS A FIRST CLASS LUNATIC!!! Only thing she seems to be able to do well is to run from the press.

lets just pray this poll stands. reid may be spinless but he is at least inteligent.angle is a fringe loon that wants to take america back to the stone age. we need to grow as americans making our country the best in the world, not let these ignorant rants of the tea party destroy us for years to come. our children deserve better than what the right extremes want to turn our country into. the palin days need to end an democracy restored among us for the sake of all of us.palin opened up the worst hate fest i have ever seen in my 65 years. the disrespect she has shown for our sitting president is an embarrassment to america. please americans, start showing love an understanding , work together to help our president do his job ,restore humanity and we will all thrive.

Ok, how about some equality in news stories, CNN. In EVERY poll where Angle is ahead, CNN notes that it is within the margin of error in THE FIRST PARAGRAPH mentioning the lead. In 'articles' that fit it's election profile, however, CNN buries the fact that the poll is WELL within the margin of error in the THIRD paragraph.

Your BIAS is showing CNN Director Paul Steinhauser. This is why you keep bleeding viewers and readers to FOX NEWS. Fix it or become irrelevant. The choice is yours.

  22. Vote for freedom and economic recovery - vote R

Come on Nevada, you're smarter than this. Reid has messed up your economy, as well as hampered the economy of the nation. He forced Obamacare through the senate - knowing that over 65% didn't want it AND that over 85% were satisfied with their healthcare.

Reid and the kooks in the media have distorted Angle's image. She's much smarter and qualified for the senate that Reid.

    VOTE FOR ANGLE.
