(CNN) - The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee will put just over $2 million into Nevada over the next two weeks, sources confirm to CNN, as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid battles for his political life.
This comes after Reid's Republican Tea Party-backed challenger Sharron Angle announced she raised over $14 million in the last quarter, between July and August.
On Friday expect to see Angle's campaign figures on how many of her donors were from outside the state, and Reid's campaign will release its financials by weeks end.
A new Suffolk University poll of likely voters in Nevada released Wednesday had the four-term senator and Angle, a former state lawmaker, in a dead heat. According to the survey, 46 percent of respondents backed Reid and 43 percent backed Angle. Reid's three point advantage was within the survey's sampling error.

Go Harry! He's going to win!
We need Harry Reid to stop exporting our jobs
Chamber of commerce made agreement with republicans to export more jobs
Yep, all those people will vote for Harry Reid and then complain about how worthless our government is.
The sitting senate majority leader needs $2 million in "political welfare" from the DSCC?
To run against a very weak and for all intents and purposes a previously unknown candidate????
Pathetic. Buh-bye dems.
This is sounding a little like Tom Dashle who was the majority leader until he lost re-election. I wonder what Reid would do if he lost.
