(CNN) - President Barack Obama said Thursday that he believes homosexuality is not a choice, but the result of people being born with "a certain make-up."
Asked directly if gay or transgender people have a choice or are born that way, Obama told a town-hall style event with students that he was no expert, then added: "I don't think it's a choice. I think people are born with a certain make-up."
"We're all children of God," Obama said. "We don't make determinations about who we love. That's why I think discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is wrong."

So here is another way of looking at this.... so what if Homosexuality is a choice... so what if a person can and does choose that lifestyle for him or herslef... isn't that protected under our Constitution...?

“…We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…”
So... which part of that doesn't anyone understand...

Sin is sin. A person chooses to sin or not. You may think that it is not a choice, but the Bible refers to it as a sin and is clear about it. Unfortunately, people would would rather than embrace their pervert ways rather than work to live the way God intended for man to live. That is why the world is on a collision course with the Creator, who will also be the Judge. Man relies too much on made made science.
Man and woman were created for each other, period. Anything else is a twisted perversion of God's intention, caused by our sin nature. Sin is sin, though I do not agree with these prescribed lifestyles, I choose to love the sinner while hate the sin. Just because it feels natural does not make it right or true, and everything is not relative. Is it true that when you drop the stone from a building it will fall? Of course it is. This is reality, whether you agree with it or not. People can be set free from this disposition, there is restoration in Christ. Furthermore, one does not have to act out on these desires.
People who think homosexuality is a choice should know that people who are or appear to be homosexuals in the United States can get killed by some people who think homosexuality is an offense to God. The case of Matthew Shepard in 1998 came to mind. I don't know if there are more recent cases. Unless you are stupid you don't choose this "lifestyle," because you can get killed for it.

What about cancer is that a choice? Something that isn't a choice doesn't mean that we just give in to it without fighting it. That being said, I would never support any government imposed limitation on human freedom and government interference in this matter will only make it worse.
