Palin to once again help kick off Tea Party Express tour

(CNN) - She headlined the kickoff event at the Tea Party Express's last cross-country caravan, and now Sarah Palin is going to help kick off the group's new bus tour.

The organization announced Thursday that the former Alaska governor and the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee will join the launch of tour, which they call the "Tea Party Express: Liberty At The Ballot Box" national tour, which starts Monday at a rally in Reno, Nevada.

The first two days of the tour are in Nevada, home state to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who's fighting for his political life this year as he bids for a fifth term. Tea Party Express targeted Reid in its previous tours.

In March, Palin was the keynote speaker at a rally in Reid's hometown of Searchlight, Nevada, that kicked off the Tea Party Express' third cross-country tour.

Sharron Angle, who the Tea Party Express is supporting and assisting in her race against Reid, will not be at the kickoff event in Reno. The reason: The Tea Party Express bus tour is being funded by the organization's independent expenditure wing, and federal candidates are prevented by law from coordinating with independent expenditure groups.

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who is considering a bid for 2012, will speak at a rally on October 21 when the Tea Party Express tour rolls through San Diego. The cross-country caravan is scheduled to end in New Hampshire on November 1, the day before the midterm elections.

The Tea Party Express launched its first tour in late August of last year. That trip ended in nation's capital as part of a large anti-tax "March on D.C." event that attracted Tea Party activists from across the country. The group staged a second bus tour last autumn.

Earlier this year, Tea Party Express, which is based in Sacramento, California, also spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on ads to help Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown in Massachusetts, who upset Democrat Martha Coakley in a January special election to fill the late Sen. Ted Kennedy's seat.

This spring, the organization helped then little-known Angle win the Republican primary in Nevada, endorsing her and spending about a half-million dollars on ads. The Tea Party Express also successfully backed other Senate candidates, including Mike Lee in Utah, Joe Miller in Alaska, and Christine O'Donnell in Delaware.

But not all the news for the Tea Party Express has been positive. This summer, the National Tea Party Federation, which seeks to represent the Tea Party political movement around the country, expelled the Tea Party Express because of an inflammatory blog post one of its leaders, Mark Williams, wrote responding to criticism of the Tea Party movement from the NAACP. The story made national headlines and Williams later stepped down as spokesman for Tea Party Express.

If only she could sing and she could bring her daughter along for a dance act as well.
The tea party 'express' along with the relaxed laws courtesy of a partisan Supreme Court really should scare everyone. They are closer to the Taliban than they realize.

Isn't the bus think getting a little old? And by the way, who is funding it? You can be sure that it is not Princess Palin or Newt the Grinch. They are so Tea partyish – so long as it helps them sell books to the uneducated.

A major problem with the Tea Party and Palin is that they have a single cry: Lower Taxes. and they have not actually come up with a plan beyond that. If they want to balance the budget and cut taxes then they need to cut spending. Cutting welfare / medicare / social security will not be enough to balance any budget and bring down our ever increasing debt.
For the past 2 years the republicans have decided to sit on the sidelines and complain that no one was following Their plan – the same one that got us into this mess was now going to get us out of it. Maybe by magic. But, they did not work for anything. They sat by and watched and refused to work. Why do they deserve to be re-elected?
If I sat around at my job and just complained about the work others were doing I would not have that job for long.

We all get assigned to by someone to do the job. But when you just assigned yourself like what Sarah is doing now, doesn't sound good and not responsible either!

Sarah barracuda is an excellent example of how to succeed in this country by being an ignorant and outrages liar and an obstructionist. Her supporters are the naïve, the uneducated and the religious fanatics. No one with any common sense would want her in any responsible national position. She is totally incompetent carpetbagger.

Palin might want to step back and reconsider her interference in state elections. Once the TeaPers begin to realize that they have all been deluded in an attempt to shore up her and other's campaign coffers, I imagine these poor fools aren't going to be happy campers anymore. Can you say, Welcome Majority Leader Angle? (Which, Angle will become, should she beat Reid.) Once it dawns on the TeaPers that jobs will continue to be outsourced, and less government spending will include the dismantling of government agencies (including SS and HHS), I wonder how many TeaPers will be truly be jumping with joy? These TeaPer candidates do have an agenda, and courtesy of a great many misbegotten souls, it is their own personal agenda which they will be promoting ... not necessarily the same agenda of those who voted for them might want.

Is CNN becoming irrelevant? Why do they give so much media coverage to an ex-governor who spread hate and divisiveness rhetoric, not to metioned she resigned her post to become a millionaire? Is it for the rating or is CNN spreading lies like a Fox? It is time American takes their media back to substance. People watch regular network news if CNN continues to market Sarah Palin. They know she is an idiot yet the network measure her on the same scale with intellectuals. Is this real reporting? I think not.

Who is this Palin, does she have a job. Last I knew about her was that when things got warm in Alaska she had to quit. She sounds unlike someone who would know what to do if things get HOT.

Looking at this airhead incites a certain anger in me that our country accepts this kind of madness. Man, how we have dumbed down politics! For such serious roles it's hard to accept that we have people who actually vote for these merry loud-mouthed tea cakes that that Palin endorses. Palin for President? I didn't fight to protect this country to see it come to that!

Snow White leads The Seven Dwarfs

The GOP will soon be known as the Party of Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs with Sarah "Snow White" Palin leading such GOP Dwarfs as Huckabee, Gingrich, Pawlenty, Thune, Barbour, Romney and Ron Paul. When Snow White leads, The Seven Dwarfs follow.
