Boston (CNN) – As President Obama was pumping up thousands at a rally for Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, hecklers interrupted his remarks.
A press pool producer inside the Hynes Convention Center said the protesters held up a banner that read "Keep the Promise" as they chanted.
Another sign read "Fight Global Aids."
The wider audience began to shout them down with "four more years" and "yes we can."
A few minutes later, the President answered the hecklers by pointing out that his administration had increased funding for AIDS research. He suggested it's more than Republicans would achieve.
Obama rolled out his standard stump speech where he railed on Republicans for driving the economy into the ground.
He often leaned into the microphone and raised his voice urging the audience to get engaged and make a difference on November 2nd.
Along the way the President nearly lost his voice, which grew increasingly hoarse as he spoke, his ending remarks barely audible.
Guy (Yes, thanks fox even I not call him this guy without realizing it) has done more in a few days for this country than most do in entire terms, what a joke. Not surprised because there is a wave of idiocy sweeping this state recently, yep, you betcha, guns, religion, and tin foil hats. Thanks Republicans. Never thought I'd say it but we in Ma also need a good dose of education, to be frank I don't think anyone has a clue the last couple of years. Meanwhile apparently they can relate to a party that is constantly calling them elitist when they aren't, liberal when they aren't, need guns when we don't, religion, war, petty family attacks that are obviously starting right back up for next election coming only from the right, yep, seems like the same ole thing all over again. Let me tell you, these issues are HUGEEEEEE, because they say so. Screw the economy I guess.
The wider audience began to shout them down with "four more years" and "yes we can." CNN why isn't this the headline I think your bias is showing again.
It is tough to keep the promise when republicans thugs obstruct your every move.
My own Senator, Mike Crapo (R) Idaho was fighting for health care BUT when Obama proposed it, THEN he was against it. Only because the BLACK president is for it does he NOW fight it.
I have never witnessed such hatred as to defy your own dreams because you don't want to give the BLACK president credit.
I am sick and tired of these folks with McDonald,s mentality. If you can not get your lunch within two minutes you cry like a baby and stump your feet. He can not do everything at once. Read the damm constitution and see that the executive branch most work with the legislative branch to pass laws, and then worry about loop holes were a two piece lawyer somewhere challenge the new law because it is unfair to a few constituents or there political party. The very rich do not what to pay taxes, but what to enjoy the free benefit that comes with this society. We are still fighting two wars at billion plus per day and still we want our taxes cut. Get REAL.
Time to admit that you are wrong on just about everyting you said you were going to do.
All you can do is play the blame game.
If we have another 4 years with you the United States won't be here anymore we will just be another third world country.
Same old speeches from 2008. LIAR! Yea, G-Dub did it. Its all his fault. Its obvious you dont need to have a brain to be president any longer.
Republicans are afraid of people who don't agree with them. They would have thrown the hecklers out. The President showed class by not only letting the hecklers protest, he addressed their concerns.
