Palin no fan of Maureen ‘O’Dowd’

(CNN) –- Sarah Palin is shrugging off a recent column from New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd - or rather Maureen “O’Dowd” - in which Dowd called Palin the “queen bee” of mean girls.

"That's so funny, because I don't think I've ever met that gal, Maureen Dowd - O'Dowd - whatever the heck her name is,” said a laughing Palin Monday in an interview with Fox News.

I don't think I've ever met her, and I don't think - she probably hasn't met [Arizona Gov.] Jan Brewer or some of these other wonderful, pleasant, gracious, nice, hard-working mama grizzlies who are wanting to turn this country around.

“So Maureen can say whatever she says. I encourage the other mama grizzlies and liberty-loving Americans to just keep smiling."

In her column Sunday, Dowd identified Brewer, Palin, Delaware Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell, California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman, California Senate candidate Carly Fiorina, Connecticut Senate candidate Linda McMahon, Nevada Senate candidate Sharron Angle, and Rep. Michele Bachmann as "grown-up versions of those teenage tormentors who would steal your boyfriend, spray-paint your locker and, just for good measure, spread rumors that you were pregnant."

Remember how Alaska state employees were saying that the 50% Governor was mean, vindictive and abused her office to intimidate and bully those not in power ??? ,.. well, her character flaws are shining through again with her words and deeds.

America, we dodged a bullet when she and that imbecile that selected her, Senator McCain, lost.

    Praise be to God!

Sarah was talking earlier about the 'Common Sense' of the Tea Party, and how it will over-take the GOP, if the GOP doesn't get on board. She obviously never read (probably read very little) that common sense is very uncommon. Tea Party, or not.

I'm no fan of Palin. I'm no fan of extremism. When the extremists make inroads, the roads lead to destruction. God help this nation of the sheep following Palin gain sufficient strength and elect Palin and her kind. It will undo this nation.

When you go around threatening to attack people like you're a viscious animal, you'd better expect somebody to call you a bully. It's not even clear why Palin wants to attack people, since she only talks in vague generalities and seems to have no actual ideas. This is also like a bully. As for making fun of somebody's name, how juvenile is that? I think Maureen hit it on the head with this one.

what is funny is that all the places with the meanest, most selfish hateful people in America are all blue areas, where as the red areas are filled with the kindest, most thoughtful, helping loving fair-minded people who will bend over backwards to help a stranger.

That man who died on the street in NYC was dying for an hour as lib after lib just walked by not even caring or thinking to try and help him. Obviously that would never happen in red America, they are just far better human beings.

So according to Maureen Dowd, it is only okay to be an assertive woman in politics if you agree with her ideology?

Funny she doesn't see herself as mean, with all of the hate speeches against any views but her own. The "libery-loving" Americans cracks me up. I guess if you don't share her view you hate the country?
Personnally she strikes me as just another lying politican! Lots of big nasty talk and no action plan to get us out of the hole... Why do none of our representatives ever talk about cutting 'entitlements' to corporates, such as government subsides? There is always talk about throwing the poor under the bus, how about big companies what do they recieve? None of us really know how much government monies go to them.
I heard Ms. Palin speak out against spending money on social programs , however I have never heard her complain about corporations having too much control or recieving aid from our government. Who is she really looking out for??????

"O'Dowd, Dowd, whatever her name is." Oh, Stupid Sarah, you're making Maureen's point for her. You are, indeed, the queen of the mean girls, which is part of the reason why so many of us really and truly despise you so much. You are a reminder of what I hoped would be a relic of the past. Grow up, already, would you?

Dowd's insufferable. She's dissed the working white man on many an occasion, her own father's membership in that despised demographic not worth one whit to her.

This is funny! Mareen Dowd disparately trying to be relevant by riding on Sarah Palin’s coattails.

I enjoyed Palin's comment the other day about being proud watching our members of the armed services as they walked through the airport. Was that when she was waiting in first class or flying on a private plane? What bull she spins on a daily basis.

I keep wondering who's minding Sarah's kids as she endeavors to "save the world"? She needs to be encouraging Bristol and taking time with the little ones growing up. Preparing our young ones to live with a stong character and confidence and tools to succeed should be every mother's number one endeavor. That's how we change the world. Sarah, go home and quit dividing the our country.

Why is the inability to get a name right, to get impatient at pronouncing a name properly a characteristic of tea party candidates ? Ignorance and intolerence. Narrow life experiences and even narrower borders of their minds.

Why does she feel the need to attach an O to every last name? She did it to Biden during the debates. I don't get it.

Don't have to meet you to know that you are mean, it is obvious. You are not a freedom lover, you want to do whatever is good for Sarah, and legislate other peoples personal lives according to your religious beliefs. You want to use whatever power you may have to punish people you don't like. You hate Muslims, you hate hispanics, you hate teachers, you hate liberals (who actually do love liberty) and you hate the father of your grandchild, you hate the President of the United States, you hate anyone who does not agree with you and are not shy about name calling, hatemongering, and spreading intentional lies. You are mean and most of us all can see it.

"That's so funny, because I don't think I've ever met that gal, Maureen Dowd – O'Dowd – whatever the heck her name is,” said a laughing Palin Monday in an interview with Fox News.

So Palin responds to the accusation of being a "mean girl" with a cookie-cutter "mean girl" response... "I've never heard of whats-her-face... or was it O'whats-her-face?"
Hmmm... I remember Palin telling Katie Couric she read everything, yet she claims to have never heard of Maureen Dowd? Either way, there's yet another Palin lie, and snide mean girl remark all rolled into one.
I still cannot believe John McCain released this scourge upon the world.

Palin will be the candidate for president of the Bagger party in 2012. She has all but destroyed the republican party with her lies and hate.
