#edit: Palin tweet 2 endorse Raese names wrong state

(CNN) –For a lot of Republicans, an endorsement from former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is the gold standard of conservative street cred.

West Virginia Republican Senate candidate John Raese received such a nod this morning, except her endorsement was for a Senate seat in … Pennsylvania.

In a now-deleted tweet, Palin wrote, "Pennsylvania:makes sense 2 send GOP 2 DC 2 avoid PA economic disaster that will occur under Obama/Pelosi Cap & Tax scheme;workers need Raese."

She then quickly took the tweet down and updated with, "PA & WV: makes sense 2 send GOP 2 DC 2 avoid economic disaster that will occur under Obama/Pelosi Cap & Tax scheme;workers need Raese."

Pennsylvania, however, does border Raese's home state, and has its own tight race for Senate between Democrat Joe Sestak and Republican Pat Toomey. Palin has not officially endorsed in that race.

And in a new tweet, Palin makes clear it's WV's Raese:

SarahPalinUSA: All energy producing states need WV's Raese in DC 2 stop Obama/Pelosi Cap&Tax;that's PA,AK,NV,CA,etc;WV sending a"D"perpetuates the problem

Meanwhile, the chairman of the West Virginia Democratic Party sought political advantage in a release citiing Palin's original tweet.

"With John Raese, it is easy to get confused as to where he actually lives. He may be running for Senate in West Virginia, but he really could choose to run in any of the states in which he belongs to a country club," Chairman Larry Puccio said in the statement. "West Virginians can't really fault Sarah Palin for getting confused – we are too."

Can't fault Sarah for the mistake. After all, the bible makes no mention of Pennsylvania or West Virginia.

LOL... I am sorry, but this is what you get for giving this nutjob an audience.

BTW, no respectful politician would accept an endorsement from Palin... no serious politician!!!!

  5. No Tea For Me

Palin and the tea party are starting to fall apart. I guess there is too much pressure when Americans ask what are your solutions, other than personal attacks and juvenile antics.

This woman loves to tweet because it is right along her IQ level and now she can't even do that right. Maybe Fisher Price would be more appropriate for her!

She's dumb, there's no doubt about it.
She's also a gifted con-artist, fleecing thousands of Americans you pay her the big bucks to spread the stupid far and wide.

As a West Virginian, I'm all in favor of a Raese's endorsement for Pennsylvania or maybe Florida, where he actrually lives and receives a Homestead tax exemption, anywhere but West Virginia. We really don't need any carpetbaggers. Joe Manchin has done well by this state and deserves the opportunity to keep serving his HOME state.

Dear Friends, it is getting so tiring! First CNN cannot stop to report on every peep Ms Palin makes and second, there seems to be no limit to the stupidity coming from that woman. Everyone that she indorses should be strictly of limits to be considered for office! Ms O’Donnell is such an example (and there are sooooo many more). It shows that the people screaming about “The Constitution” have not the faintest idea what they are talking about. And that is not the only important thing affecting your life they do know nothing about. GOP/TP did fool you now often enough, don’t you think?
Please, people, go out and vote! But, do vote in your interest, informed, responsible, and smart! Please!!!!

Dumber than a sack of broken hammers. This is the face of today's GOP. Thanks, but no thanks. I have too much respect for my country to let morons like this turn our country into a laughing stock. Wasn't 8 years of W enough? They really do hate America, what is worse is how stupid they think all of are.

It doesn't matter factually.....on Anything for this woman......just angry that a "black man is the president", and the Lady Grand Wizard just wants him to fail with a KKK "audience" in a senator's chair. Never mind whether they are qualified or living in the early 1940's, right Sarah? You're nor them are benefitting this country that Wants to Move Forward.
