Campaign Circus: Random notes from the trail

As Election Day gets closer, the rhetoric gets more intense and, shall we say, passionate. Here some things that you might have missed.

Elvira channels Christine O'Donnell

Elvira - Mistress of the Dark/actor/comedian/80s icon - has jumped on the mock-Delaware Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell bandwagon. She recently posted her take O'Donnell's "I'm not a witch. I'm you" ad. Watch it here

What happens in the Climate Fight Club ...

David Arquette, in the news for his breakup with wife Courtney Cox, is out with a "Don't mess with California" ad, fighting against a November ballot measure that would halt the state's greenhouse gas law.

'I didn't write this'

Comedian Tina Fey's resemblance to Sarah Palin made for a dead-on impression of the 2008 GOP vice presidential candidate. Now it's paying off: A Fey-autographed copy of Palin's book "Going Rogue" book is currently going for $1,009 on eBay.

The wrong Markey

Democratic Rep. Betsy Markey, D-Colorado, is fighting back against her opponent, state Rep. Cory Gardner, for accusing her of voting on a budget
that she didn't vote her. Turns out Markey was attacked for a vote cast by Rep. Ed Markey of Massachusetts. Watch the ad

How influential is his endorsement?

A tweet written to promote a local law enforcement association's endorsement of California gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman inadvertently sent viewers a YouTube video of a cross-dressing Asian man rocking out to a pop song - in a negligee, garters and thigh high stockings and playing a bass.

Alec Baldwin wants to marry a man?

"30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin is starring in a video for Fight Back New York - a PAC aimed at taking down state senators who voted against marriage equality. The comedian joked that there is only one reason he cannot marry fellow comedian Jesse Ferguson: It's not legal.

  1. Media vs O'Donnell....!

Christine O'Donnell never said: I"m a Constitutional-Scholar" What she said is: "I studied Constitutional-Govenment" and
she also never claimed that she memorized the Constitution and its many Amendments..We are sure that even the
Supreme-Court-Justices cannot recite the many Amendments word by word...That is why we write it all down so we can
    reference to quote it accurate.

The Media this Election season seem to marginalize women candidates....Delaware VOTERS should take exception to it because it is their vote that is belittled here...................................................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone find it odd that liberals are ok bashing the wicken relegion, a religion that hasn't killed in the name of God, yet is the first to defend others who criticize Islam?

And isn't it odd that the press won't stand up for the powerless wickens? It's ok to bash a relegion, as long as you tow the party line?

    Just asking.

The biggest circus of all is the corrupt, lying, inept, incompetent, union toady president spending a lot of taxpayer money to run aound the country, causing massive traffic jams, and inconvenience for actual working people while he puts the bite on the the Hollywood elites for more money to save his failed policies. I am sure Michelle is enjoying the trip though and planning her next vacation.

Such is the sorry state of politics USA. Comedic parodies of pseudo-politicians, pseudo-experts on the Constitution, and stale teabag slogans with no substance or detail or experience to back them up. Democracy USA is indeed a work in progress.

Supply and demand economy is dying out. When the demand aspect of the cycle goes up and enrich the corporations they dont intern provide mainstreet with jobs they take them to china. the repugs gave them a free card and more tax break money, main street is the last thing on their minds. Theyre going where billions of customers at and theyre taking our jobs with them.
