President Bloomberg? Mayor Spitzer? Neither?

(CNN) - If New Yorkers have their way, there won't be a President Bloomberg anytime soon.

A new Marist Poll released Wednesday said 64 percent of registered voters in New York City do not want independent Mayor Michael Bloomberg to run for president.

And a Mayor Spitzer? Sixty two percent of voters do not want former Democratic New York Governor Eliot Spitzer to run for mayor in 2013.

As his national presence grows, Bloomberg's name has increasingly been mentioned as a potential presidential candidate in the next election.

Spitzer's return to the spotlight as anchor of CNN's Parker Spitzer, over two years after he resigned as governor has caused some chatter about his future political ambition.

In the past Bloomberg dismissed a run for president. Spitzer has remained coy about his future political aspirations.

The candidates being thrown around for 2012 are a joke. Palin? Spitzer? What a joke. Obama's got 2012 in the bag.

I don't reside in NY but IF I did, I would not want either of them. As far as I am concerned they are BOTH creeps.

I really can see BLOOMBERG for President but NOT in 2012!!!! In 2014 – Maybe!! By then, New Yorkers most likely would have CHANGED their TUNE!!! Right now, the Mosque is 'cluttering' their minds!!!

Why does CNN run so many POLLS??? Anything goes now since an African American President was elected!!! The nation thinks 'IF A BLACK MAN CAN DO IT – I CAN DO IT'!!! That would be true if it wasn't cynical!!

Young Black Americans look up to the President and their thoughts are – “YES, this is something I can accomplish if I just study hard and go to college!! Even young non-White children can look up to the President (if their parents allow them) and say the same thing – “Yes, I can accomplish being President too!!”

But the ADULTS, however, see it differently and see it more as a DEFEAT to end something that should not have happened in the first place. That’s why you have ANYTHING and EVERYTHING, including convicts, rapist, bank robbers and any other criminal – trying to RUN FOR PRESIDENT!! In their minds, they are defeating MORE than a President, they are DEFEATING a DREAM!!! Not all think this way – but MOST do!!! This could explain the SURGE to try and bring President Obama down NOW, when he only had two years to MOVE AMERICA FORWARD!!!

So CNN – your polls are sometimes unnecessary because it boils down to NOTHING!!! Did Bloomberg or Spitzer call you up and ask you to run a poll on them????

This is T’SAH from Virginia and I approve this message!!!!

I'll take neither, Alex for $200! (Jeopardy joke for those who failed to catch on), although the neither part is quite real!

How could anybody elect a man that wears more make-up than most the tax-paid prostitutes he frequented while in office? Guess that's the wrong question to ask here where they choose to give this pretty philander a pulpit to preach from.

Never in a millions years...but maybe the mayor would be a good fit for cabinet position or chief of staff. Spitzer is done.
