Republican heavy weights to Ohio

(CNN) – Big Republicans are coming out for Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate John Kasich next week. Governors Haley Barbour of Mississippi, Chris Christie of New Jersey and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota will headline a rally on October 29.

The three governors are also considered potential 2012 presidential candidates. Another possible 2012 candidate, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, will campaign for Kasich next Tuesday.

Obama will visit the state on October 31.

Kasich is running to unseat incumbent Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland.

Ohio will go Republican. The people of Ohio know that Obama's job killing agenda has created their suffering and will reject Democrats in November.

How insensitive of CNN to call Christie and Barbour heavy weights. Just because they have to pay for two seats on an airplane? Newt is the worst person (next to Bush or Cheney) to campaign in Ohio, as his fascist ideas will really hurt the baggers.

I don't see why Republicans are bothering, those people are happy with what they've got which is no jobs, I guess they enjoy being lazy and hoping for a government check to get by in life. Must be since they are voting in the same group of people that are there now.

Hopefully the earth will open up, and swallow them all. But that would turn Ohio into a hazardous waste dump, and no one wants that to happen.

Are these big Republicans going say the same thing that all Republicans are saying ? Will it be the same old tear Obama down but have no answers to solve problems ? Are they going to spew hate towards Obama because the entire world is in a resession that just won't end fast enough ? I am sure it will be the same old lecture about how Republicans should be given back the keys to the country so they can screw the middle class all over again and take everything good that has come in the past two years and tear it apart so they can finish off the destruction they started with the Bush/Cheney years

I'll say those are big Republicans. If you are what you eat, they've been living on expensive pork mixed with the fat of the land.

When he was a congressman he never really took anything seriously. He just seemed to be along for the ride. I can't imagine why he wants to be governor where things will be much more challenging.

"Heavy weights" implies that Republicans are sending their 135-pound dumbbells and 90-pound add-on plates to a gyms for their workouts.
A "heavyweight" sent to Ohio would be Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton on a mission to campaign for Barack Obama.
