Republicans upset over Connecticut move to limit WWE gear at the polls

(CNN) - Republicans lashed out Friday after the Connecticut secretary of state said poll workers would have the right to ask voters wearing World Wrestling Entertainment merchandise to cover up because it could be considered campaigning.

Republican Senate candidate Linda McMahon left her job as chief executive of WWE to run for office. And a spokesman for Secretary of State Susan Bysiewicz said McMahon is so closely associated with the organization that wrestling garb could easily be construed as political advertising.

I wouldn't want someone who ran the WWE running my state. They don't treat their wrestlers well, so she won't treat her state well either.

Republicans, or in all events the bodysnatched faction that passes for them these days, believe that unlimited freedom of speech belongs to rich, white right-wingers, and everyone else is free to agree with them.

This woman is another teabugger joke? Yet, she is getting support. It is sad how Americans a dubbing down and showing total lack of intelligence. We are a laughing stock to the rest of the world when I have relatives in foreign countries that ask me if O'Donnell, Paul, Angle, Whitman, Fiorina and so many others on the right are for real and how can a person with half a brain support this garbage! Now we have all these documents that show what a disgrace our military is and the call for the Geneva Conventions to be called to charges of some 66,000 possible war crimes by US! Our military has been out of control for generations and needs to be stopped!

No campaigning at the polls. It isn't that hard. WWE paid for the campaign, mcmahon's husband's money, made on steroids, mysogony and violence has had enough corrosive influence already....

If Republicans didn't care, I would think that it WASN'T campaigning, BUT, because they are upset about it, I'm ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that wearing WWE gear was INTENDED to be a secret campaign ad... Someone already spent a lot of money on the logo riddled stuff, intending to use them to get more votes, I bet... NOW, they have a bunch of "wrestling stuff" that they can't do anything with (and I bet it's a campaign operative).
