Pelosi teams up with Michelle Obama and Jill Biden

San Francisco (CNN) - Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Dr. Jill Biden introduced first lady Michelle Obama at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) fundraising event at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco Monday night.

The first lady spoke for 20 minutes before a majority female crowd of about 750 people, urging them to show the same zeal they did in the 2008 campaign.

She joked that two years ago she made a pact with Democrats that, "if I give you my husband, you have got to have his back."

To which, a lady in the audience, yelled out, "we've got your back."

The event, hosted by the DCCC, raised 1.6 million dollars, and was attended by major Democratic party fundraisers from the greater Bay area, along with most of the Northern California congressional delegation.

Tickets for the dinner started at $500, and jumped to $10,000 for the photo line. About 30 people shelled out $30,400 each to attend a very private VIP event.

Dems you need all the help you can get the people are not thinking rationally. How the hell can a business survive without demand. Then why the repugs keep giving to the business side and taking money from the customers by cutting their gov jobs and welfare local business boasting money. What the businesses are going to start ordering from the customers now. Where does repugs get their logic from, now i know why the the red states are always behind the blue states.

How much does it cost the Tax Payer to have these three campaigning at the same time? Is there a reason Reagan did not campaign during the mid term elections?
